What's new

Want to Diy & im lost!

Really big thanks to you all for your help and help. going to order some stuff today.. the neighbors will think ive gone 'breaking bad' if they see me in kitchen lol.
I dont want any complex flavours, I smoke stuff like blackjack, pear drops, absinthe. Most of which I have seen in shots.

Kepp your eyes on my thread. Im sure I will have more questions soon..

Thanks

And Im back, First question... Steeping? Some flavours from boss have 4/5 week steeping.. Can i not start smoking the liquid once Ive made it?

One shots from chefs flavours and alchemist cupboard now do a money shot, both are excellent quality and your nic,pg and vg darkstar again excellent quality. Mix up 10ml testers so you can tweek to your taste. Local chemist for your syringes, little 1ml great for your testers.
Good luck with it all and keep it simple, believe you me it's very satisfying to vape your OWN juice, you know what's in it[emoji106][emoji106]

Each to there own.
Some people steep for a long time, others toot straight away.
As a complete generalisation;-
Fruits, menthols, mints are basically Ok from the off - known as "Shake & Vape".
Bakery, creamy, custard benefit from a steep. anything from 1 week to 6 weeks.

All juices tend to improve over time but there is nothing stopping you using straight away.
If it is rank leave it to steep.
If you like it then bash in.

Good luck.

Sound stuff! I dont think I can wait more than a few days :)
Right ok, got everything except the flavouring. Some things I have seen I like the sound of the flavouring. But they say they are concentrates and to mix at avg. 20%.. Will a concentrate be the same as a one-shot..?
please forgive me if Im totally missing the point here...

Have a look the the eliquid diy guide on here. Worth a swatch as you can see how much conc folks put in.
Most single concs can be anything twixt 2%and 15% the one shots go from 15-25%.
And have a wee look at the Vaping Biker's video on YouTube on making juice.

Depends on brands, flavours and personal taste.
The total flavour I use varies from 10 to 22.5%.
I only use TFA or Emporium.
There are sites (on here also) that suggest recipes and %'s.

A very simple flavour I like is TFA Mint Candy - mixed at 15% I like it.
Throw in 2.5% koolada and it is a cool mint toot.
You just have a think and mix small qty's to start.

Concentrate percentages are sometimes on the bottle but not always. The website will definitely give you one as a starting point.
If you want one to make and vape straight away try The Twister ( remember the lollypop ) from Bigjuiceuk. They also do a really nice Lemon Tart which you could vape straight away but gets a lot better after 2 or 3 weeks.

I really am very thankful for all your help on this thread. Ive really made some progress.. ordered everything from a couple of websites thats been recommended on here to me. should have everything by Wednesday.. :) Now i need to read over all the advice again and make a recipe plan..
I will post my thoughts on a recipe soon. Let me know if ive got it right.
Thanks

Start simple so you don't get a dissy.
Mix some that you can try straight away.
Keeps you going whilst waiting or playing with other recipes.
