I haven’t used anything MTL for probably 3 years apart from a Suorin Air though and I had to lung hit that to get anything from it. Maybe it’s me and I need to change the way I inhale or something. Don’t get me wrong, the VIM with the MTL coil is in no way a lung hit, I doubt I could, but it seems a bit loose to be MTL for me. Reminds me of trying to MTL using a sub tank mini with the 1.2 ohm coil back in the day.

Yeah, I think it was Simon Gs post earlier gave me a different method on MTL I think I was sucking [emoji33] too much [emoji23]

Trying it a bit differently and I'm getting more flavour.

You know it's not that tight for a MTL draw..... I like it and I wouldn't if it was that tight., it's pretty comparable to the Hastur mini on it's largest hole (which is where I use mine) and I can tell you for sure there's people on this forum that like it even tighter that that.

I actually think they've got it spot on, going on what I read in the MTL section about different tanks and settings, I think this is right in the middle of a good MTL draw. I could have it a fraction looser but much looser and people would be saying it's not 'real' MTL.

I agree, this is not tight for a mtl device. I usually mtl vape a touch tighter than this. I certainly would NOT vape mtl anything less restricted than this.

It may have been a good idea to have two lists, with a group of predominantly MTL vapers and a group of predominantly DTL vapers, so there was an even split between the two.

I have a feeling that the majority of DTL vapers will think it's tighter than it is for MTL because their natural style is to lung inhale .... I know when I'm testing it in DTL I'll probably be half trying to MTL. I'll have to really concentrate because it doesn't feel natural to me.

I have a feeling that the majority of DTL vapers will think it's tighter than it is for MTL because their natural style is to lung inhale .... I know when I'm testing it in DTL I'll probably be half trying to MTL. I'll have to really concentrate because it doesn't feel natural to me.

I am pure MTL and I think 1.5mm is too tight, thats' what the lowest setting should be, also I find as you use a stock coil things firm up, particularly when using a vertical coil where your bore is the airflow, so I'd say the 2mm bore will feel like 1.8mm after a few days use, I am always surprised by how loose a new coil feels for the first day or so. Having said that I'd say my perfect MTL is 1.8mm, and I like to use a wide tip, the skinny tips feel very weird to me, not on draw just size. It feels like I am pursing to use it, so I am probably odd. I also think highend MTL is going to betighter as tolerances are better, stock coil MTL is always a bit looser isn't it.

Im a 80/20 MTL/DL vaper and I think the 1ohm coil is spot on.
For me, this is the perfect 'rollie' resistance.

I was a rollie smoker as well, I always thought rollies had to be a bit looser as the tobacco was not as dry, so maybe that's where my love of a looser drag comes from.

yeah, I think you are right .... a lot of RTA's are almost too tight for me, the berzerker being the most recent example ... way too tight for me, but very popular around here.

1mm would have my veins popping trying to draw, I like to sit back and almost let it fall into my mouth, slow and steady, but the guys I know that use highend MTL are all below 1.5mm.
