I find myself agreeing with this to a degree. I've witnessed the sort of thing you refer to. I also think there are one or two prolific tweeters who seem to be intent on promoting themselves as opposed to Vaping. I have a respect for Dimitri/Busardo but the amount of utter craven arse licking before, during and after Vape Jam was nauseating.
That said , there are a lot of decent sincere folks whose only interest is defending Vaping and I enjoy it as a source of information and commentary on Vaping news

If I went solely on the accounts I used to follow, I'd want vaping banned too.

Ben Goldacre is such a disappointment - surely if you could count on anyone to see beyond the bullshit it should be him. Sadly not! I'm definitely not reading any more of his books (and I think I actually paid for Bad Science).
