What am I doing wrong?! Eleaf HW M2 coils

Ey up!
I understand my vape style is likely not coil life friendly (chain chugging)
So the story is as follows
Hw m2 Eleaf mesh coils.
Getting like 4 days max before burn taste

Not sure if it's the liquid I'm using 70/30 but say for example I popped a new one in yesterday as I was away for the day and didn't want it to fail.
By the evening its starting to get burny taste (harsh on throat too)
Primed, and left in there for a good amount of time so the cotton soaked through.
By this afternoon, just not usable, nasty burnt and throat harshness. I assumed on replacing I'd see a dutty brown *as coil, however looks good - clean no visible signs of burn out or clog?

What dya reckon? Kinda frustrated as I've gotten to forth coil now in 6 days!?

Other info - Ello Pop Tank , slide top fill, Eleaf istick mix, never thrashed above 50w (40-90 recommended)

Did you build the wattage up when first started using after priming and letting it sit, you should break the coil in, should start off low say 15 or 20w then a few puffs on it, then build up in increments of 5w till you get to your preferred wattage, if not and gone straight in at 50w you may have burnt the cotton hence the burnt taste, also what juice are you using ?

The mod defaults to 30w when new coil is put in or when tank is taken off and replaced. Didn't realise lol and wasn't forewarned by where I purchased from that I might have to start off that low, kinda assumed that the 30w was ok!
I'm using mothers dairy strawberry ice cream 70/30?

Ps, rarely crack it up to 50, usually stays at 40-45. Tried upping it after to see if it was that it was too low and that was causing the poor performance

If the mod self sets to 30w I'd drop to 20w & slowly up the power. As mesh heats up almost instantly running higher watts will burn the cotton.

Even if it defaults to 30w you should still be able to lower the wattage on it with the buttons its wattage range is 1 -160w so you should be able to lower it,

looks like this is the liquid which is USA made so suspect its packed full of sweeteners which are known to destroy coils fairly quickly too

70/30 will be fine ratio wise though just could be the sweetners that's killing your coils

Can only assume it's your juice. I use that coil regularly and they last me a good two weeks at 60w.

Try a different juice and see if the problem persists.

hi bud i use the ello pop tank & the same coils as you, but i always break em in at about 25 w & creep upto 65w where the coil has lasted me upto 3 weeks with no issues.
