trying to find best source for getting some bottles for my DIY mixing.
however ive hit a stumbling block as several sites say they use LDPE bottles and other sites say LDPE are not suitable for chemicals and the like so what are the correct bottles to use ( other than getting glass ones )
i need 5ml for samples, 10ml 30ml and a few 50 and 100ml for when i get a juice i really like and want to make a big batch.
so LDPE, MDPE HDPE or summat else?

Im going down the recycle my pre-mixed bottles route atm. But will watch and see what people say :)

I know liberty flights use LDPE in there 10 ml diy bottles. If that's any good for you.

ive spent past couple of hours googling and seems alot say that plastic bottles can and do have an affect on colour and even taste to some extent.
so maybe glass bottles are the way to go as i will be reusing them too so thinking about lingering taste left in plastic bottles even when put through a sonic cleaner with milton tablets or boiled ( at a low level to hot can melt/mishapen them )

Glass is obviously the best choice. I think the order being
1 brown glass
2 blue glass
3 green
4 yellow
5 clear

Glass is undoubtedly preferable, but there's unlikely to be anything wrong with LDPE for e-liquid I would think.
When people say they're unsuitable for chemicals they're probably thinking of reagents in a lab, e.g. strong acids and alkalis.

*everything* is made of chemicals. You, me, the earth, the stars, e-liquid, trees, marhsmallows, bacon, inflatable bananas, everything.

Most plastic e-liquid bottles are LDPE (low density Polyethylene) the opaquey softer ones, or HDPE (high density Polyethylene) the harder clear ones.

Forgot to say earlier that the obvious advantage of LDPE is that you get a squeezy bottle. If you're happy using a pipette or syringe then glass is probably the way to go, and will last pretty much forever unless you happen to drop a bottle.
