I used the default coil setting for the main coil it came with but I eventually burned it out, the extra coil has 4 coils and I believe is called the t8 but my coil settings are asking for stuff like tc-ss tc-ni and tc-ti and whenever I use the default coil setting it says short ohm and gets really hot really quick, which setting should it be for this coil.

Hi and welcome

To be on the safe side maybe discontinue use for now,

Hopefully someone with some in depth knowledge about these things will be along soon ,

Kind regards ,

start at 40w and work your way up till you are happy

hi @Marionette and welcome to the planet

as said, best stick with wattage/power mode.
the others stand for different sorts of wire used and can be used in TC temperature control mode.
Ni nickel TC mode only
Ti titanium TC mode only
SS stainless steel TC and wattage mode.

when you take the tank off the mod press the fire button once. it will then ask you if it is a new coil the next time you screw the tank back on. this will set the correct ohm.

for a new coil prime it first with juice on the cotton. then screw into base and fill up. start at half your usual wattage so if you vape at 50 star at 25w and turn up after each puff. this beds the coil in and doesnt burn it straight away.

Hi @Marionette and welcome.
Youve put the mod in temprature mode.
Take the tank off and click the fire button three times to enter settings menu.
Use the up/down buttons to scroll to VW and click the fire to select it.
This will put it in power mode.
Screw the tank back on and it should ask if its a new coil so select yes.
Check what power settings its showing which will be in watts.
Lower it to around 45w and try it.
If its weak then increase the power by a few watts at a time until its hitting the spot but dont exceed the maximum wattage setting for the coil which i believe on the t8 will be 80w.
