Are you concentrating (pun intended) or are you listening to music maybe?

I must stop watching porn whilst mixing ... the new flavours are Lap Dance Grind, Morning Glory, Tented Trousers and Moist Gusset.
Catchy? Inspiring?

i don't really do anything whilst mixing, it's only a 2 minute job for me 'cos i only really mix one bottle at a time, never really have big mixing sessions, not a lot of time really to do anything else :P

I have music playing pretty much 24/7,upstairs is broadcast stereo, downstairs it's satellite radio so guess you could say I listen to music when mixing(if I actually listened as the music is just to drown out noisy neighbours crashing their gate shut,or their fecking dogs barking all day long)though I just refer to it as "audio wallpaper" Same as people have their TV on from waking until bed I refer to as "animated wallpaper" :P

interesting titles. moist gusset could be a winner, assuming it tastes and smells nothing like a moist gusset.

generally i'll have the tv on in the background and take my time with my mixes to ensure the correct quantities are added, especially with the nic. most of the time i find i havent got a clue what happened on the tv, so i guess i end up concentrating on the mix.

ive been in triphammer's shop when he's mixing and he has dance/techno/d&B blaring in his mixing room.

I like some blues guitar when mixing, it should mellow the flavours.
Moist Gusset contains Dark Chocolate, Vanilla Custard, Amaretto and Calipitter Chow, needs to keep its knickers on for 2 weeks I reckon.

I try and time my mixing session to coincide with Alice cooper on planet rock. I find what I listen to really effects the outcome of my juice. He tends to play pretty good music and tells a good tale which all helps me focus on the job in hand.

I've figured out why I haven't started mixing yet. The multitasking is too much for me.
