Just looking at a new supplier for juices and they offer various VG/PG mixes, what is the 'standard' mix and why would I want to vary it?
Is it safe to increase the ratio?

The more I look the more confused I get.

Firstly, both VG and PG are 'safe', and both can be mixed together, so no worries there. Ratios are a matter of personal preference, but a general rule of thumb is that The higher the VG,the thicker the juice, and the more vapour produced. The higher the PG, the thinner the juice and the more throat hit produced (bearing in mind that throat hit also varies with nicotine content). As for standard mixes, a standard VG mix is usually around 80vg/20pg and a standard PG mix, 70pg/30vg. Some folks feel that PG carries the flavour better than VG, but I haven't really noticed a difference. Thicker juices, ie those with a 100% or high VG content, do not 'wick' as well with top coil tanks/atomizers as the thinner juices with a higher pg content.

So... using Evod clearomizers on a vision spinner (or iTaste MVP V2.0 when it arrives) what would be the ideal mix for flavour?

Go for a 50/50 or 60/40 mix, you may find that you will be burning through coils with thicker e-liquids.

i use a 50/50 mix in my i clear 30's (what comes with MVP v2) & it wicks fine & gives a good flavour & reasonable vaper production. i think if the vg was higher it might struggle to wick & give dry hits but if you got bottom fed tank no reason why you couldn't up the vg%.
