Guys I have been vaping for just over a week now. Started with the ce5, which didnt go so well so I bought a t3 clearo and an evod kit to keep me going.

Basically I love the evod and the flavour with throat hit! But as always id like to know what to go for next... are the protanks better and what about the more cheaper mods?

Hi & Welcome to the Planet

am not a fan of evods that just me tho some ppl love them. I like pro tank 2's and mini's original ones

Mods are down to personal choice, feel & budget. Have a look around there is plenty to choose from

I'm the other way round. Love the evod's, hate my protank with a passion. My "Davide" is like a protank but I love that.
Like the man say's, mods are what you like the look of, and how much your willing to shell out.
Having just upgraded from vari volt only mod, to a vari watt / vari volt mod. You might want to consider skipping vari volt only.
Personal opinion that, as my vari volt only mod is still an awesome bit of kit.

another double post. Sticky mouse button I think. Probably to much juice in it.

Can't comment on the Mods - I do love the Evod. Aside from that, probably the protank mini, which I can't fault (still waiting on my protank 2, so dunno about that yet) and the DCT, which is a warm vape, lots of vapour and just seems to help get a lovely smooth but strong flavour from my cinnamon coffee juice.

Not tried the DCT with other flavours yet, as the carto makes flavour changes more difficult, so I have a couple more on order, along with 10 replacement cartos (and recently dropped my existing one - the tank survived but the carto's shot, so I'm DCTless at the mo)

I'm inclined to agree - to a lesser degree - on the protank. It's OK, but the mini seems to vape better. I also prefer the smaller tip on the mini.

Having said that, I'm on some plastic protank clones from FT at the moment, and they're vaping well. The only problem is the connector's too short for my Ego Twist, but they're faring well on the fixed voltage, so nothing lost.

I have the protank and love it, purely for the fact i dont have to top it up as much when i am at work!
Although i have purchased a protank mini 2, shall see what thats like ( i know i will have to top it up more often)
As for mods, its all down to budget to be honest, i was looking into mods and have given up for the time being, i will stick to my egos!

I would suggest that if you're happy with what you have, why change? But then conversely ds, you are in fact saying you are not quite happy. Or is it a case of the other man's grass etc? You could start on a long trail of searching for vaping nirvana which maybe a long and costly one. It could even lead to shinyitis which is virtually incurable.

I would say it might be a good idea that while you have satisfying system, now might be the time to try out as many sample flavours as possible so that you get a true indication of what they taste like.

If you do want to venture further down the vaping trail ds, you won't go too far wrong with 2 x genuine eGo C Twist plus a wall charger, along with a Protank II and a set of replacement heads plus a spare Protank base, as Protank bases can be 'temperamental' thread wise.

I caught a very severe case of shinyitis. By the time my next FT order arrives, I'll have 31 tanks of (I think) 7 different types (some clones, some unbranded generic, some real).

Doesn't matter that I'm happy now, I'm drawn like a magnet to anything I don't already have
