Decisions, decisions!

I've been looking into taking up vaping for a while now, but to be honest the vast array of stuff out there has put me off. Until I came across this forum that is ;) Lurked for a while and read quite a few posts then introduced myself earlier.

Mainly I'm looking for a bit of advice on what to start with. Ideally I don't want the initial outlay to be too much and I'm quite taken with the Intro-Vision Kit from Vape Escape here: http://www.vapeescape.co.uk/showdetails.asp?id=421 are there any problems with this type for a beginner and is it a good starting point? If not, what would you recommend?

The other thing I need help with is choosing the right type of liquid to use with it. As I've mentioned in my other post on here I currently smoke roll-ups made with amber leaf tobacco and liquorice papers - which "flavour" have other previous roll-up smokers found comparable?

Thanks for your help :2thumbsup:

That is a great starter kit, I strongly recommend having 2 batteries at least. Grab several of those clearmisers as well.

Grizwald @ VapeEscape does a Black Cat which is a licorice flavour. I like the golden burginia to be honest, but it is a sweet vape. I dont do tobacco's mostly because they put me off since theyre reminiscent of real cigs... there isnt a juice yet that is "just like a cig" but there are some that are close to replicating that ashy taste they leave behind.

This is the set up that I started vaping with after giving up on the cigalike. As the peeps above have said get yourself a couple of clearomisers and a spare battery. The link that Chris has posted is an ideal kit as you'll soon learn that you need a spare battery!

Hi and welcome, good to know your getting off the ciggies. I used to smoke amberleaf roll-ups, You could see if RoyalVapor any of his free tobacco samples to see if there is any you like. There are 7 in total, I liked his Arrakis and Royal Five e-liquids.

Here is the link to the Thread http://www.planetofthevapes.co.uk/forums/showthread.php/5692-RoyalVapor-Mystic-Juice-FREE-trials

Hope you find something you like :) Like other people have said 2 Battery's is a must. You wont regret the change :)

I personally started with an ego kit, then customized with a DCT tank and haven't looked back.

Thanks all for your advice - I've gone with the Intro-Vision Kit and a pick and mix of the Grizwalds gourmet - mainly all their liquorice flavours with a couple of different ones thrown in to see if I like them or not.

Can't wait for it to arrive - sick of smoking tobacco.
