Anyone know the difference between nic salt and the other one. I know it’s stronger but does it matter ?

The main differences are that Nic Salts deliver Nicotine much faster than normal freebase liquids, they are also less harsh on the throat which some don't like as it doesn't give you the nicotine throat hit sensation.

The main reason I use them is for that near instant nicotine hit, especially in the morning when I still get that 1st ciggie type head rush.

Thanks. Do you know are they any more/less addictive? Need to stop vaping for school.

I wouldn't have a clue, nicotine in general is addictive, Nic Salts will give you a quicker fix though so a few toots when craving kicks in is enough whereas freebase takes longer so you often don't feel like you've had enough when popping out for a vape if you know what I mean?

Nic strength is indicated, whether it's salt or freebase, they just have a different delivery. I personally prefer freebase because salts were just coming in when i started (or in an earlier phase at least). I think if you start out on salts you'll then crave that quick hit, but i did just fine on freebase nic juices at 18mg down to the current 3mg (i was a pretty heavy smoker before switching), 18mg frankly made me sick at times (i can't even vape 20mg salt now, similar effect, too much for me). I don't mind salts for shortfills at 3mg because it settles faster (less steeping), but honestly prefer the slow release of regular nic (i'll use less juice up when not on salts, at least as far as my personal observations goes).

Science.

Freebase nicotine is more alkaline based, lower on the PH scale, whereas nic salts are higher in the acidic side.

What this means is that the way nicotine bonds to the acidic nature, it can be vaped in higher doses compared to regular nicotine. That is why a 18mg free base is much harsher than an 18mg nic salt.

So the difference is, freebase nicotine is suited for lower strength liquids and the salts are perfect for the higher strength.

Freebase has a high PH level that makes it harsher at higher MG and acid is added to make the salt nic to lower the PH to make it smoother [emoji6]
