Yesterday I received the Bully V3 from Stealth Vapes great service as always
. So as I already had the Yoda I thought I would do a comparison after a couple of hours fiddling with the bully I was ready to go.
I made 6 coils, 2 with 2 x 1mm silica , 2 with 2mm silica and 2 with 3mm silica as this was what I had in my box
. All had 5 wraps of kenthal and they all hovered around the 2 ohm mark
, voltage was set at 3.7v. The juice I used to test was Juicylicious Vanilla dream custard and Vapist Vapour Victoria sponge I used these as they had different PG/VG ratios. Then I would put one of each coil in each dripper and test them side by side using a Provari.
Performance:
On every coil the Yoda out flavoured and out vapoured the Bully It did not matter which juice I used the Yoda won hands down. Not much more to say on that count.
My best test was the vapour density, with the Yoda the vapour was so thick I could not see the missus sitting next to me on the sofa, but I could still hear her. With the Bully I could still see and hear her so again the Yoda wins hands down.
Build Quality:
The 510 thread on the Bully is very sloppy and it does not sit right on my Provari until its really tightened down, which I dont like doing. Other than that the build quality was good. The Yoda build quality was also good and the 510 thread was very smooth and fitted the Provari with just a nice soft tightening down.
Other:
On the Bully the air hole is in a set position due to the threaded cap, but on the Yoda you can tune the air hole to just the right spot as the cap sits on o rings, for me the best setting was next to the outer post so the air blast ran along the coil. This greatly improved performance on the Yoda which is probably the reason reason why the Yoda came out on top.
So the Bully has gone to the back of the box and the Yoda is now my current go to vape.
If anybody has an original Philippine ERA they want sell or now where I can get one can you let me now if the Yoda is that good the original must be phenomenal
.
