What's the best rebuildable atomiser?

Are you looking at a dripping atomizer or a tank atomizer? The Clockworks would be on my wish list if I could currently afford one. For a cheap introduction the ones avialble at Vaporhut (VH-Dripper & VH-rebuild) at £14 each are a bargain introduction.

Thanks for the link that was a good review and I defiantly think it's worth a buy.

Is it just me...or are the "elite element" always going on about my rda, ssd, clockwork, oddy, flexatron , fekkin latest thing.
Speak english for feks sake
Sorry bout that, when you've hung around vaping forums for too long it's easy to forget that it can be a foreign language, lol! I just wish I was going on about MY clockwork rta, but after 13 months I still can't quite bring myself to make the leap to pro vaper!

I have an RDA from ClockWorks. Best thing i have bought so far, considering it only cost around £35.

The RDA is ClockWorks dripping atty
The RTA is ClockWorks tank atty

Both of which are generally highly regarded by the vapers that own them among others.
I stqrted vaping using cartridges, then quickly moved on to tanks for the convenience of not having to refill every other hour. So at first a dripping atty sounded like madness to me....drip every 8 drags you take!

But I decided in the end to get myself on the RDA list to see what all the hype is about....i was not disappointed!

The RDA is my main all day go to device. And when I have the cash secured, im getting on the list for either the RTA or maybe the new project ClockWorks is working on!

My secondary atty I always have on me on an ego battery is the VH rebuildable tank atty.... So simple, so cheap, vapes great! And as it uses ego tanks you can switch your flavour in seconds by putting a different tank in!

Best tip for the VH rebuildable tank atty is to use a rolled up piece of mesh in the spike to feed down to the wick attached to the coil.
Mine came pre coiled and ready to vape so you can copy and adapt its original setup to suit you.

Id imagine the build quality will be the same on the VH dripping atty.
If there is room in the dripping atty after the coil is fitted, use some filler from cartridges and place it in there touch the wick but not directly on the coil or blocking the airhole, this will allow you to vape longer and drip less, but still get the benefits of dripping, eg. Better flavour, throat hit and sometimes more vapour...all depending on the placement of the airhole.

The RDA is not a screw on top, its pushed down over a seal, so you can put your airhole where you want it. Whereas the screw on tops, your airhole lands wherever the manufacturer puts it. Meaning you'll have to fiddle and adjust the placement of the coil if its not vaping properly.

Think thats everything that sprung to my mind! Im on my phone so its a pain in the @rse to keep scrolling up. Sorry for any spelling mistakes, my phones keyboard is temperamental.

So basically despite the VH rebuildables price being low, they are fantastic bits of kit. But you want something handmade and high quality get yourself on a list for something....its worth the wait!

Mark has a topic on here about his rebuildable efforts with his RDA if you want to take a look...i cant link as im on my phone

Great post Joel. I think I'm going to like rebuildables.

): I am still waiting for postie to bring my atties with big botties for my squoncher. I started looking at RDA devices for the same - from what I have read the £14 jobbers don't have a bottom orifice to suit.

Have you been oxidizing mesh and making wicks and coils Mark? Todd pointed to a couple of good sources of guidance in his review thread.

No oxidising wicks Bryan just using the fibreglass string n wire that came with the RDA. ....

Please no, not bottoms again! I've only just recovered from your reaming :D

Have a look to Scott's reviews (igetcha69 on youtube) he has tried pretty much everything and his videos are very clear.
The RDA and RTA (rebuildable dripping atomizers and rebudable tank atomizers) are big favourites because they can be used with pretty much any cobination of mesh/wick/coil.
Penelope is small, and, like odysseus, it's pretty durable.
DID is well regarded as a relatively simple genesis atty.
The spheroid is new and apparently excellent as for flavour and vapour, but it has filler inside.
The steam machine uses ego cartridges, for those who like that (I don't) and is well regarded as for flavour and steam :)
Some of the new chinese seems ok, but not the tank ones, as I see form the reviews.

There are literally dozens options and not clear winner, also because preferences might vary and one only knows his preferences after trying a few.

The thing is, like with acronyms it takes a bit of research, is in the nature of the thing really.

Personally, I like penelope and, less, the odysseus.
woud like to try the DID and the spheroid.

But for a cheap and good vape, with the possibility to start rebuilding, the vivinova tank is great (the one with removable heads, not the rebuildable chinese also called Viva, which got bad reviews)

Thems is all over £60 (faints) - does one have a specially commissioned silver clip to hold one's Provari to the Roller's dashboard? :)

Hehehhe, I know..
Not cheap for sure.
Look for ngp, I think those are a bit cheaper.
Or really a vivinova, I like it, use it everyday.
On my lavatube and ego twist ;)
