When experimenting do you make 10ml or 30ml samples?...

Unless you have accurate scales that read down to 0.01g i wouldn't be mixing anything by ml or drops, that's just me personally though

A decent set of scales are easy to get a hold of. Definitely a must when DIYing though
 
I usually go for 30 ml. Sometimes if it smells crap then it's 10ml.

I use measuring cylinders, which are accurate enough if you're mixing big batches, 50ml and above. Not much use for tiny samples though, agreed!
