Hi there,
I'm relatively new to vaping - although I had an eGo a couple of years ago (given to me by a friend), I only went back to it about a month ago.
This time, however, I started up on the over-the counter style 510s as they were compact and seemed convenient. I really liked the Nicolites menthol flavour and decided this was probably the route I would take initially. I ordered some bits on their website and a couple of packs of cart refills and now that I have a feel for cost/usage levels, it is abundantly clear I need to move straight to liquids and put my money somewhere more worthwhile. I must add that I'm actually happy with the vape on Menthol Nicolites.
I have been looking at a number of options, but I'm not sure what the best approach is (as I've seen so many conflicting things online.
I really like the cigarette-style 510s for how small and lightweight they are (I can hold them like a cigarette and they are automatic). I considered going down the simple 510 cartomiser route (possibly Boge 510s). The issue with this is that I don't want to be burning these out all the time and the lack of visibility concerns me a little. After reading about ways to avoid this, I tried to catch the warning signs on my existing setup but failed each time.
Due to this, I thought about the clearomiser route and did a little research. I'm aware that a lot of people think that these can be hassle and there can be issues with flavour and leakage, but I've heard good things about the Mini Vivas (and CE5s, to some extent). I'm a little concerned about the size, etc., as I'm not currently an enthusiast, just someone who wants a cost effective and easy method of vaping.
I don't really want to be dripping throughout the day, so it would be nice to have a 'backup tank' so I could just screw it on and refill both at the end of the day (again this would be more of a concern on the more portable tanks). I also think sticking with a 510 setup would be useful but would, again, like to keep it as lightweight as possible.
I wonder if anyone has any wisdom for me on this.
Thanks in advance.
