Hi all,

I have recently received a Tesla V2 kit (came with generic 6ml DCT Carto Tank) that came with a 18650 'Dishy' battery and a rather flimsy looking charger.
I am buying a Nitecore 2bay charger so that's covered, what I need advice on is what battery to go for.
I want to get two so I can rotate them. I vape around 9w at the moment depending on the variables and want the batteries to last a full day each with a view to safe overnight charging (at the moment the flimsy looking charger is on the bedside table at head height and I am worried about waking up with half my face missing)
I'd like to keep the price as low as possible but don't want to scrimp on quality....

Sorry if this is answered elsewhere I did have a cursory look but got some very mixed answers.... some favour some makes while some then slate them.... Help!! :whiteflag:

BTW loving the Tesla so far....

Thanks in advance for any and all advise <3

Efest or AW imr's both have good reputations.

I use efest in my vaping gear and the AW's in my caving headlamp so they don't accidently get mixed up

No batteries should be left to charge overnight. If your sticking to standard ohm coils, efest, AW or Torchys. If your going sub ohm, Samsung or Sony.

Thanks for the replies, Seedy, I know night charging might not be the best idea but that's why I'm getting the Nitecore, it stops charging when battery is topped up. Still new to this so not read into/experimented with sub ohm though up for trying most things.

Probably a good idea to get some batteries with high discharge rate now and save a few quid down the line. I just got some Sony 30a for about £8 each from shmovapes. I couldn't find anyone else selling them in the UK.

I ended up getting 2 Panasonic NCR18650PD and a Nitecore i4 v2 from some late finishing ebay auctions.... still waiting for delivery before I give any feedback. Thanks for the advice and help, nice to know there is knowledge to be shared. .. :-)

Had the Panny batteries and Nitecore charger for a week(ish) now and have nothing but praise for them. Charger does everything it promises in description and the batteries are great.
The 1st battery lasted 2 days before I had to swap it out.
I couldn't get on with the DCT Carto Tank that came with the Tesla, very hit and miss for me, either hitting beautifully or flooding and burning just when I didn't want it to.... Went through 5 new Cartomisers in as many days even after following youtube/intraweb advice.
I ordered a Kamry X10 late one drunken night after reading only one review on it which was very positive, saying it was as good as a PT2 if you changed the coil for a genuine Kanger one. I found it gurgled and flooded everytime until I inverted the little rubber collar in the stem. This seems to have fixed it but I'm not really enjoying it. Harsh and lacking in flavour with liquids that tasted great in my lil EVOD. I've ordered a PT2 to see if it will vape as well as my EVOD does, if not I guess it's back to the EVOD and the many refills...unless someone here can point me in a better direction?? :)
