Which Do You Recommend

If you're going into an actual shop, talk to them about it - if they're any good at all they really should know what's what.

I did look at the pink box and watched a review on it.

I think it was built by someone from NASA as it's really quite technical. I can see why the site said it is for experienced vapours as just setting it up is pretty complicated.

You also have the plus and minus buttons on the base of it which makes it seem a bit fiddly.

Also I don't sub ohm so i wouldn't use the tank. I would be paying nearly £40 for a battery.

I am grateful for your help and don't want you to think I'm pulling it apart. It's just too complex.

Tbh my reason for posting was the mod.
Its compact, girly in pink, and perfect for a beginner.
Any tank can be fitted to the top and expected you would go for a pink one any way.

I've got to be honest and say I think some of you are so savvy with vaping I don't think you have a clue what a novice is any more.

That is not a starter kit by any means of the imagination for someone like me.

I thought this forum was going to really help me but I think I'm too wet behind the ears for here.

I will go into a shop and see if they will guide me.

I know you all have the best intentions.

I'll be honest too - I honestly think I'm more vape novice than you (literally never even puffed on a vape until a fortnight ago).

But, I do have a fairly extensive background in electromechanics - which admittedly probably helps a shade ;)

If you were close I'd happily go over the tech side with you - I'd have you pressing buttons with gay abandon within 5 minutes :16:

But a shop is a good plan - just so long as the staff are decent and won't sell you something unsuitable in the hope you'll be back in a week to spend more money...

I do think you're allowing yourself to be seriously misled by the warnings on that sales page, and if a review made it look complicated then it was a poor reviewer.

Seriously, signing up to a forum and making a post is more complex than setting up that mod/tank.

So I'm trying hard to get back to vaping. I've always used a Kanger Evod and I do love it but maybe a change will help.

I'm definitely a MTL person and vaping is to get away from smoking. I still want to feel I'm smoking but want to do it in a safer way.

So after lots of reading I've narrowed it down and would value your opinions. I don't have lots of money so these are all in my price range.

Pockex - confused as some say it's MTL and some say sub ohm. Read lots of reviews saying it leaks a lot which puts me off a bit

Innoken Endura T18 - like the look of this one

Jac Vapour S17 and S22 - like the look but reviewer on here said he thinks the mouthpiece is a bit wide

I have my Aspire VV battery which I have just bought so do I just buy the Nautilus Mini. This got good reviews but not sure about the metal tip. I hate the taste of metal on my lips so am I going to hate vaping with it?

Also if I'm stepping away from the Evod will 12mg liquid be too strong with the above type of vape system. I seem to have developed a really delicate chest so should I lower nic strength or will I still need the 12mg.

hi

I’ve just bought a jac 22 and the tip is a little wide, but for less than £1.50 you can buy a smaller tip. Mid size for regular cigarette size and small if you’re used to Rollies. Really well made kit. Super easy to use.

Hope this helps a little

If you're after a pen type then go for one of the items you listed in your OP as all of them would be perfectly suitable.
I'm not going to advise on something that the battery can't be replaced on.
If you feel more comfortable seeking advise from a vape shop then i hope you get sorted.
Be interested to know what you end up with.

I went to the vape shop. It was on my doorstep really but never even noticed it before. It was really trendy looking and when I walked in I thought the guys all had a specific look about them - none of them would have looked out of place as the new member in Avenged Sevenfold.

The guy who served me spent about 45 minutes with me. He came to the conclusion that I already had what I needed in the Evod. He said if I want to tone it down or take it up to just switch to my VV battery.

He said he felt it was my E-liquid that might be more of my issue. So he gave me one that packs a punch flavour wise but is 50/50 and 12mg.

His advice was really to stop smoking first and once we've got to that point then we can look at something pink for the next step up.

So I went in armed with £50 and came away spending £3.99.

That's actually brilliant customer service - well done that man. Very impressed.

And also yes, definitely stop smoking before going further - I didn't realise you hadn't...

My technique - don't pick a day to stop, because then you miss the first one in the morning and spend all day thinking about it ;)

I had my last roll-up at 2:30pm on a Friday, first vape/puff/toot/undecided terminology at about 3:30 the same day - haven't touched a cig since.

Careful with the strength of the juice too btw - you might be fine on the 12, but that was way too much for me (going from ~15-25 rollies a day). I'm currently down to just over 2mg on a mix I made, and if I chuff too much I still get a headrush...

You are amazing in my book for quitting smoking. I can't wait to get off them for good.

Will keep an eye on the strength as you suggested.

Thanks for reading all my posts and taking a keen interest. Means a lot.
