Which Do You Recommend

I wonder if you went into the shop and detailed to them the same query as your original post.
Maybe they ought to have taken on board your concerns regarding "developing a delicate chest" and maybe suggested trying to isolate what was causing it instead of suggesting a juice you already had concerns over.
Anyway you seem comfortable with the experience and outcome and hope you're now sorted :2thumbsup:

I've got to be honest and say I think some of you are so savvy with vaping I don't think you have a clue what a novice is any more.

I thought this forum was going to really help me but I think I'm too wet behind the ears for here.

I remember being a novice. I had 2 ego batteries from Tesco, and an Aspire K1 tank. I bought a small box mod, and after ten minutes of pressing the buttons, felt completely out of my depth, I put it back in it's box, where it stayed for almost 6 months! :8: I did start to use it eventually, and it's what got me completely off the cigs, but it didn't half intimidate me at first! So you're not alone in lacking confidence with the tech! ;)

I would say either of the Enduras or either of the Jacs would suit you just fine. Don't worry about things like o rings: have you ever changed one on your Evods? It needs doing occasionally, but is very simple. 50/50 liquid is perfect for mtl devices, and 12mg+ is fairly standard. People using higher powered devices generally use much lower nicotine levels because they're inhaling a lot more vapour (so a larger volume of nicotine per puff) than mtl vapers.

Take it at your own pace, and I wish you luck with getting off the cigs :)

I told them everything which is why he gave me a lower pg than I had before.

You sound exactly like I am now when you started. Good to hear you are doing so well and thanks for sharing your experience .

So you were vaping higher pg than 50% before?
Never gone higher than 50/50 myself and usually vape 70vg/30pg.

Mine was the other way around so 70 Pg and 30 vg. Just can't handle that now but I did have bronchitis recently so he said my lungs might just be still recovering. Maybe if I had tried it before the bronchitis it would have been fine.

I started on 18mg 50/50 juice in an Evod type set-up and dropped to 12mg pretty quickly. 50/50 is ideal for MTL - that's still what I vape now. Hope it helps. :)

It really does help. I have a feeling I will be off the cigarettes very soon which I am so glad about.

What I also found useful was to keep a bottle/tank of 18mg nic juice (or the next up from what you regularly vape) for ciggie craving emergencies. It helps with the nic, but it also helps you emotionally to feel that you've temporarily 'upped' the level a bit. That got me through several crises. :D

At your own pace, there are no failures, just hurdles(stepping stones). If you push too hard and force the change it'll only be harder to stop smoking (telling yourself "no!" is harder than saying ..maybe not so much). Have a single/two cig a day if that works(and you must), just keep up vaping until you no longer feel the need to have the cigs, a transition is better than a forced change, move at a pace that works for you, don't make the battle harder than it needs to be.

There's a community here waiting to support and help you when you need it. :)
