Hi apes, I've been mixing my own since just before Xmas. One of my must have liquids was peanut butter after trying a pre-mixed juice when I first started vaping (can't remember the make).

In the hope of being able to replicate the taste, I purchased the Capella concentrate, which I mixed at 10% and at 60/40 pg/vg (no nicotine). The liquid has been "steeping" since 27/12/15. Tried it today in a clean Nautilus with a new coil. The taste is quite muted with a very slight burnt taste, which could be because I've had that flu thing that's doing the rounds.

It in no way does it have the sharpness and bite that I fell in love with. I must say I'm very disappointed with the results and I'm wondering what I can try to replicate that first fantastic tasting peanut butter? I'm going through my records to find which brand of pre-mix I purchased.

Don't know which is the best, I'm using OneOnOne's Peanut Butter as I got a bottle cheap to have a play with, it's decent enough and tastes like Peanut Butter if that helps.

Hmm I always quite liked the Capella one after a good steep although I haven't used it for a while so the recipe might have changed. I do remember it being a bastard for burning though. I tried inawera peanut and that was very bland and disappointing.

Thanks for the replies, it's much appreciated. It took me ages to track down the payment details for the pre-mixed peanut butter I enjoyed so much. Having found it and posted a link to it in my previous post. Did a little internet searching, as one does, and came across a couple of sites selling the Hangsen peanut butter concentrate. I ordered it from www.cig-eliquid.co.uk who just happened to have a few concentrates reduced with label damage. It would have been rude not to add some to the basket, so I did.:18: This mixing malarky is starting to take over my life.:rotflmao:

flavour west peanut butter cupcake is good i use it 0.25ml smells good and taste good . got mine from vapable

i use a mixture of 14% tfa and 6% capella.
yup a 20% mix, nic and the rest vg.
you need quite a lot of concentrate for high vg.
for a 60/40 i would hit more like 10%/5% to start.
10% is going to taste very week and i find the capella too *roasted* on its own.
hope this helps.

I really like Flavorah Peanut Butter with Capellas at a 1:2 ratio. Caps is sweet (like most Caps is) and Flavorahs is dry and realistic, it's a nice mix. I tried Caps and TFA together, it's good too, but I prefer the FLV.

Got some P-nut better cup by mom n pops range from chefs vapour today will let u know how i get on with that could be decent if you like reeses cups i would think
