I had the AZ. I slept most of the day after, but I don’t remember much else about it... I was on a hospital ward with non-Covid problems at the time, so it’s all a bit hazy :25:

Had any luck with your 2nd jab @MrDJ ?
Hi @Crewella
its been a cockup and a half but did finally get me second jab yesterday but had to travel to lords cricket ground in london which is 11 miles away.
i got bombarded with jab offers 2 weeks ago but it was all on the day i was having my infusion which kills my immune system and with this drug there has to be a minimum of 2-3 weeks after infusion so i had t decline those offers. then my hospital stopped offering the phizer jab a week ago as ran out and uk at moment is in short supply of it.
id hate to think what elderly patients in same situation are going through as at least me working at hospital i had contact with certain docs who could help with the search.

only problem with this one is sore arm but no other side effects.

Glad you got it sorted, hope the soreness wears off soon. :)

Well...i got my first today....and i thought that i might get the Moderna one, but as it transpired my county isn't getting that one...so..AstraZeneca it is. Nae bother..i got something..that's the main thing. Very pleasant experience....twas all done and dusted in 30 minutes. And best of all...the Vac nurse even changed her mask to one of those see through plastic visors..so i could lip read her. For anybody like myself, with hearing issues....it's been a right old pain trying to understand people with those bloody masks on! Taught me something though..i never really appreciated just how much i rely on lip reading to communicate with others. Lovely staff....oddly nearly all women between 30-60 though...no military squaddies (there's a large firing range and military training camp just a few miles away from the leisure centre where my local vac centre is), no young trained students, but all sweet people none the less. Couldn't be happier though...finally got me jab! I think i go back in 8 weeks (Welsh gov's policy on time between jabs here)...so late June for number two..just in time for the summer season...yay! :)2

As for after effects, well it's only been a coupla hours..and i feel fine....i didn't even feel the needle go in...i actually asked the nurse had she done it yet!

My second one fucked me up. Boiling hot but freezing cold shivers. 24 hours like that, I'm still not right but defo loads better. psychologically I feel good about it :)

got the first Pfizer jab couple of weeks ago. Nothing other than a slight pain in the jab zone for a couple of days.

Lets see whats up with the 2nd one

AZ, wouldn't really class it as a side effect, but had an ache on the inside of my elbow joint the following day, happened on my 1st and 2nd jabs.
