Which VV to use with ProTank?

Hi all,

I'm fairly new to all this, currently using an EVOD starter kit with twist battery. However, I'm enjoying vaping so much I'm trying to suds out my next purchase.

As it is I am very happy to have my EVOD to take to work and use there daily but am after something a bit better for home.

From what I have seen so far I think I want to use a Kanger ProTank clearomiser on a variable voltage e-cig. Problem is I want to know which VV e-cig to buy.

I'm not too worried about price, just want something that will be a keeper, and something I can try different tanks with.

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Thanks
Matt

Firstly batteries and charger approx 25 quid, then you've got the vamo, zmax or svd to name a few, all do the same thing looking between 35 to 50. Or an mvp 2 has built in batteries about 40 notes.

Itaste VTR fits a protank 2 perfectly with replaceable batteries and practically bullet proof will last a long time. Only downside is it's expensive. Oh and it's heavy really heavy but doesn't bother me, I love the feel of it. Also it can sub ohm, vv/vw amazing mod

Here is what happened to me. Much like you I owned an ego, then I bought an innokin iTaste VV ver 3. That was one of my best buys because it allowed bigger tanks to be used, like the aspire BDC. I the bought a Innokin SVD. It looks great and now offers the ability to change to a longer battery life like the 18650 or the 18500. I'm loving this as well. I also purchased a Caravela clone because I'm now addicted to shiny bass and because I also want to try my hand at drip. Someone convinced me that is the only way to go so we will see when the post arrives. Good luck and remember this is just a journey. Not every path is meant for you. Do what you like.

Thanks, that's some good advice. I suppose by sticking to bottom coils like EVOD and pro tank then they are only really the electronic feed for them. Just don't want to waste my money on something crap.

I suppose when the time is right I'll spend a while looking around and pick something that works for me. Would ultimately be nice to actually see some in a shop I suppose.

My only other advice is to do some serious shopping online and read up on what you find. Here in the states, I picked up my innokin SVD for less than $40. I got the complete Vamo v5 kit for around $50. My innokin iTaste vv3 I paid retail and that was $45. If your dead set on a particular item like a SvöeMesto Semovar, good luck. Producer of said products are holding their cards close to their chest. It maybe a while before we ever see a Chinese copy come out. I found that when dealing with China, there a few good ones and a ton of bad ones. Be careful.

ok so how much would you be willing to spend?
if you really want a keeper i would look at either a provari or a dna20 box mod as these will be the most likely items you will keep throughout your vaping journey.

a simple ego twist however is a great start, protanks come with a collar too so you can put them on an ego battery without them looking too ridiculous. the ego twist is a regular ego battery with a twisty bit on the bottom that changes the voltage.

You have a twist, so you do already have VV, but variable wattage does add a great deal (which twist doesn't have).

I have the innokin itaste VV V3.0 as well, and it's a great first step up from egos, it has VV, VW and ohm checker, so you're ready to start recoiling the drippers.

I've had the itaste a couple of months, and I'm now awaiting delivery for the step up to SVD (which takes separate batteries).

Anything with VW as well and VV and an ohm checker is probably what you're wanting, so I suppose it really depends on your budget and how long you want it to keep you going before you buy anything else.

The cheaper end of the Innokin range (including the VV) have integrated batteries, so they do have a lifespan based on the battery life. As mods such as the SVD take rechargeable batteries, when these fail, you can replace them, so the unit lasts indefinitely (providing it doesn't get damaged).

Personally, I don't mind one purchase superseding the last, as I'll still use the VV (just as I still use numerous egos) - I've saved hundreds on cigarettes, so these are guilt-free treats.
