Why does my juice taste so weak?

Whats vapers tongue if i may ask?

I've never had it myself, so hard to explain. Going by what others have said it where your tastebuds struggle to pick up on flavors. Normally strong menthol/mint juices are used to clear it up.

When you vape the same juice for days on end, it becomes rather muted, I'd imagine it was like that. I personally change liquids frequently, every 1-2 days.

Agh i guess that clears some things up for me then.. I always presumed i needed new wick but changing only made a slight difference to the taste of my juice.. Do you know any amazing menthol flavours ?

Muted vapes can come from a number of things, gunky wick, gunky coil, ect. In your case if changing didn't work, then time to change juice for a few days.

I used to love menthol smokes, but I haven't really branched out in search of an amazing vape. Heisenberg was nice, a blueberry menthol, hell of a kick! A lot of folk love Red Astaire as well, though I wasn't too fond of that myself.

Spot on - I've had exactly the same problem - my favorite was French Pipe Tobacco but after a while I couldn't taste the flavour at all. I changed to a different flavour (when my vendor had run out) for a few weeks and then went back to it when it was in stock and sure enough the flavour was back. Alternating between flavours seems to be the best way.

I'm just starting out - I've bought a bunch of flavours (mostly TFA) and I'm mixing with VG based nic and using VG base, no PG at all (other than in the flavours)

I have a problem, where no matter how much flavour I seem to add, it just tastes kind of muted..

So just now, I mixed:

blueberry candy (15%),
blueberry extra (2%),
cream soda (3%),
sweetener (0.7%)

Given it a shake and had a vape - it just tastes of.. not much, can tell there is blueberry in there but not much..

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks!

Despite all the suggestions, it's most likely you're not using enough concentrate. Even within one company's range there can be a huge variation in strength, and I've found blueberry and strawberry in particular to be quite weak.

Then there's your taste buds, they may have been destroyed by years of smoking and will take time to recover.

I was going to say the opposite. I think he is using far too much flavour. I rarely go over 7% total flavouring. CAP flavours I tend to use a little more.

If I was OP I would be adding some PG to his mix. VG will be muting the flavour if he isn't letting it steep and mixing it really well.

Yes, there are many who would say the same, and I've tried it, but firstly our expectations vary and then there's our taste buds.

I don't have a single mix under 20% total, and when I find one that is very strong this gives me the opportunity to increase the others in the mix!

As a side note, CCW Orange is incredibly powerful and is the most authentic tasting I have tried.

Totally agree, all my mixes are 20+.
I guess the only time this wouldn't apply would be if you were using a super strong Flavour Art tobacco as a stand alone vape.

Damn - What brands are you guys vaping? All of my FA stuff is mixed at a max of 4%. Something like FA Blackberry is used at 0.2%.

I had the same issue as OP a few years back (I posted here if you want to stalk my post history) and actually dropped the % I was using actually made my juice more flavourful. I have to switch juices every 10ml though as I get vapours tongue, all the time.

This is likely one of the highest percentage mixes I make!
