Alright guys,

Just wanted to share with you one of the reasons why I have turned to mixing my own liquids.

Have you ever been swayed by positive reviews of e liquids that previous customers have left? Of course you have, we all have!

This is just a warning to not read too much into reviews on suppliers websites (look around and watch or read independent reviewers interpretations). The reason I say this is that I have just written an honest review on "The Alchemists Cupbard" website regarding one of their flavours being naff. They deleted my comment the next day, so I have just posted another :). I wouldn't be surprised if this is a common thing for vendors to do so just be careful. In turn this is portraying the e liquid to be amazing when it may actually be the case that they are just removing those which didn't rate it. It's an absolute cheek, and these companies are taking peoples hard earned money via propaganda.

Alternatively do what I now do, and make your own :) If its naff you know about it and won't be fooled into thinking otherwise. Fullproof.

Thanks all :)

Which flavour from TAC did you think was naff mate? Got a fair few from there in the past, some I love, some are just ok.

Pretty sure your comments won't be censored here ;-)

Edited for turrible speelling!

coconut caramel and hazelnut honey. If i was a betting man I would put my life savings on it being one that you love! haha

How long did you leave that one to steep? Could that not be the problem?

I've just started mixing myself. All of my juices are coming out really sharp and harsh and I have no idea why. Possibly need to steep them longer.

I gave it 3 weeks, and it was bottled 4 months before I got it!

I'm pretty certain it wasn't a steeping problem...

Good tip - but doesn't change the fact they are deleting negative comments. Is there someone who represents them on POV so they can defend themselves? :)

Nope, never tried either but they SOUND nice! ...or did...

I've got a maple pancake syrup from there which smells amazing but tastes burned at any wattage and instantly gunks everything.

The duff ones don't peeve me too much these days as most concentrates I've had from TAC are lovely. Same can't be said for TW though, in my early mixing days I must have tried 20+ of their concentrates, nearly all artificial tasting garbage.
