wick and wire questions

I see.
so whats the point of r/nr wires? surely I will just use the middle section fr the coil and most the rest get cut off........

sorry . tired lol

Res-no res wires are used in atomizers where the legs travel a long distance. For example the ithaka. In this case if there was only resistance wire used the ohms woud end up being too high (due to the legs adding to the overall coil resistance). Also no res wire will not cause any damage to the insulators thst keep it in place.

not really necessary in the igo l or igo w then?

^^^ what he said ^^^

and richard....its either a tightish 5 or a nice open 4 wraps on 1.8 ohm...if i get the 1.5 i imagine it will only be 4 :)

Sounds good :) 4 turns should give you about 1.6 ohms. You want to make sure that your coil touches the wick at all times but that it is not too tight on it. Akso that the coils dont touch either the base or the posts of your atty!

But always check your coil on a mod that reads the resistance before you fire it. Or on a multimeter.
