Recently purchased this mod just less than a month ago and in the past two weeks had huge problems with it. When the mod starts to run low on battery I power it off and it's either in my pocket or my hand. Then proceeds to turn itself on and fire at what I'm guessing is higher than the 70w I vape at as it produces much more smoke. Burns out the coil and has once sent liquid leaking from the airflow down my fingers that was so hot it burned me. I've stopped using it as of this week and picked up some cigarettes which I'm quite annoyed about but I have contacted Wismec today with no reply yet and was wondering if you guys had any advice .

Thanks!

Take or send it back to where you bought it. If you only bought it a month ago, the seller has to replace it, or refund you.

*if it is a European seller, otherwise you are relying on the goodwill of a foreign supplier who is under no legal obligation to replace or refund.

Failing that, credit card purchases are covered by your credit card provider, or a PayPal claim can be lodged.

Are you 5 clicking the power button to turn it off. If so be aware that it is only in standby/slkeep mode & could be turned on bouncing around in your pocket. This action could also be causing the up/down buttons to be activated, turning the watts up/down. I would suggest pulling batteries out of mod when low/being carried in a pocket & putting batteries into dedicated safety cases. The fact this is happening when it's in your pocket could also lead to autofiring. The excess juice is also likely from the mod/tank being carried in a pocket causing it to leak & when you do fire it, juice is spitting out.

all very well but im not sure anyone can be expected to jump through so many hoops just to have a vape

Just pointing out the risks of carrying a mod in a pocket. Hardly having to jump through hoops. Believe it's called commonsense.

should we have live out our meagre days in a world of worst case scenario....... how grey such days would be

I put all my mods in my pocket, never had a problem.
Pleased for you. I've had mods fire & wattage change. OP points out issues he was having & also stated mod was carried in a pocket. I just pointed out possible pitfalls of such actions. Now as this is a forum that offers help and advice that is what I've endeavoured to do. If it doesn't match with your expectations move on. Goodnight
