Hi Apes todays review is the Wismec RX 2/3 which was kindly sent to me for review By @gearbest.com.
So as always I would like to say a huge thank you to Zarya and Gearbest for sending me this mod for review.

So in the box we have the mod itself, which comes with the 3 battery door fitted and an extra door for the 2 battery configuration. A user manual and a usb charge cable for charging the batteries and firmware upgrades. Also a warning card telling you not to use batteries with torn battery wraps.
I strongly advise using an external charger for charging your batteries even more so if you are charging up 3 batteries to use as i found that the original rx200 would charge the batteries unevenly via the usb.

Stats.

Size: 40.2*34.5*88.7mm (for 2 cells)
Size: 40.2*50.1*88.7mm (for 3 cells)
Thread Type: 510 spring loaded thread
Cell type: High-rate 18650 cell
Cell type: (discharging current should be above 25A)
Output Mode: VW/TC-Ni/TC-Ti/TC-SS/TCR Mode
Output Wattage: 1-150W (for 2 cells)/1-200W (for 3 cells)
Resistance Range: 0.05-1.5ohm for TC modes
Resistance Range:0.1-3.5ohm for VW mode
Temperature Range: 100-315°C/ 200-600°F (TC modes)

The Rx 2/3 has preloaded setting for Ni200, titanium and Stainless steel temp control as well as manual TCR. also power mode or variable wattage.
A spring loaded 510 connection, large screen like the rx200s, and reverse polarity protection, should you put your batteries in wrong it won't fry the chipset.

using the mod.

press the fire button 5 times quickly to turn on or off. press the fire button 3 times to enter the menu, use the backwards or down button to switch between what you wish to change, and then up button to alter the setting you wish to alter, note to change values ie wattage you need to press the down button to get to wattage then you have to press up first then down to lower your wattage..
You can set the battery monitor to either show a battery with how much life remains or have this shown as a percentage which i like a lot, you can also alter the voltage and ohm's of your coil in the settings.

There is a firmware upgrade for the RX 2/3 which will give you 250 watts with the 3 batteries of course. Sadly for some there is no upgrade for the 150 watt way of using the rx 2/3 this is because the 200 upgrade which was available for the Cuboid is sort of covered by the 3 battery way of using the mod. There is also a TC mode upgrade and of course for you vapers who want to customize your screen please take a look on the link below. As yet there are not many custom screens for the RX 2/3 but you can send a request to the site for a custom firmware as well as that there is custom firmware for other rx200 models and the cuboid and evic mini models

My thoughts

I really like this mod with the duel battery configuration having used it with 2 and 3 batteries. The reason is it is more friendly in the hand and lighter to carry plus i have an rx200 should i wish to use over 150 watts, however the 3 battery config is great for extended battery life or vape time.
Because of the changeable battery doors this RX 2/3 is slightly taller than the original Rx200 and 200s models. This i do not mind but some may not like that.
The buttons are nice with quite a soft click to them.
The packaging is nice it has the colour of the mod and authenticity check stickers and the manual is very clearly written and easy to follow.
There is as always venting at the side and on the bottom and also on the bottom a button which you press to remove the battery door, this for me is something that could be a problem as time goes on should it stop working. The reason i say this is the mod will not switch on without the battery door in place correctly.
My other dislike is the duel battery door it can be a bit of a pain to get it in place unlike the triple battery door which is far easier to fit .To be honest though once you get the hang of it you find it easier.
Both doors have 2 sort of hooks that need to sit correctly at the top end so that the batteries are connected to power the device. there is also 2 at the bottom of the doors that just slot in easily once the top is in place.
Again the duel battery door when fitted there is a slight gap between the door and the top of the mod, this i don't mind but for those with ocd it may be an issue.
The device will have no overhang with atomizers upto 25mm by the way.

Pros

Choice, battery and wattage wise
great to use works fantastic tc mode is also great and does it's job
Upgraded from the original rx200, better spring loaded 510 and larger screen like the 200s version
value for money
Choice of colours is better than most mods which have only a couple of variations
The easy to understand manual is a plus

Cons

I have just 2.
The button to remove the battery door could eventually wear, may not but it's something to be aware of
The duel battery door is as said a pain to get in place at times.

Conclusion

The Rx2/3 is a value for money mod that is better than it's brother the rx200 i can't comment on the rx200s having never used it. Which also has the larger screen and better 510 connection. But i am going to say if you want a rx box mod this is the one to go for due to the option of 2 or 3 batteries
The duel battery function for me is what makes this mod more friendly but the choice of using 3 batteries is also a plus. So this is the best of the 3 rx200 mods.
It does what it says on the tin, tc is good .
It is easy to use and navigate.
You are sort of getting a Cuboid and an rx200s all in one mod which is why i have said it is value for money
Ok it is not cube shaped with the 2 battery door but you get what i mean hopefully.

Thank you for reading my review.

Went out and bought one partly due to this review (had been looking at them since release) so thanks again.

Loving it so far by the way. That 2 cell door is an absolute shite to get on at times though like you say :D

Glad you like the rx2/3, with the door i find you need to make sure you don't click the bottom in first and try to slant the bottom away from the mod andpush the door upwards then once the top is in place click the bottom in. Glad you found the review helpful, if you need any help please ask and i will do my best to help. Enjoy

I have done 5 reviews on here so far, Koopor Primus, Hotcig R150, Thinkvape Box 75, serpent mini and The Fillian rdta by Shenray.
More reviews will get posted as and when i get stuff sent for reviews. The reviews also get linked to my facebook page which has a link at the bottom (shameless plug i know)

I bought the 2/3 from Vapefest and am really impressed with the 2 battery setup. This with my Goon is a beast.
