It's going back to my local B&M where I got it today.

Never mentioned anything about a guarantee or anything.

Anyone have any knowledge in returning goods without warranties or anything like that?

As far as I'm aware, all electronic goods have a 12month warranty against faults. Something in the sale of goods act and stuff being fit for purpose I think.
Its faulty, they have to refund or replace, no quibble

EU regs actually give 2 years under that act

Would have thought you'd be alright if you know them - ask them to have a look at it for you? Are you getting another?

Id like another rather than my money back as long as it proves to be the unit at fault and he can prove the new unit isn't the same temperamental thing this one is. I like the design of this one don't think I could get on with a more 'box' shaped mod.

Will let you all know how it goes this evening.

Just to put an end to this thread I took the ZNA back to my local B&M and the unit was found to be at fault.

The guy at my local shop is great and swapped the unit straight away, so all is good in the world again!

Just wanna thank all that contributed for their help.
