Hi,

I am looking to make a bottle of 100% VG but have just learned after looking around that you need to dilute it with purified water? Can we do it without water if we just add more PG based flavouring? how does it work and what would be the correct way of doing it?
Looking to do a 10ml bottle to try out on my RDA :)

i might be wrong but i have seen other people post about using vodka to thin there vg .
you will only get 100% if you also use vg base concentrates.

hmm I didn't know you could get concentrates in VG, so all my concentrates are in PG I guess. Maybe if I am lucky the odd 1 or 2 might be but I highly doubt it.
Vodka hmm I don't have and that would stink my room out haha, plus I may end up drinking it lol.

Hmm so I need to get purified water, could I get this from a local store in the UK such as Tesco or something? I know I could order online but just for time being I could grab it to try it out.
Also how much % of flavouring should I add if my concentrates are in PG for a 10ml bottle? And how much purified water?

Sorry for all the questions, hope you or someone else here can shed some light on this.

Thanks :)

All mine are 80%vg only the flavouring (20%) is PG and needs not for water or vodka :)

viper have seen Halfords as a reccomendation for distilled water. .. you may not need it if your flavouring is pg based that will thin your liquid down a bit anyway... and depending what you are vaping on some people do go 100%vg with no problems. .. or you could try using avg... (aqueous vegetable glycerin ) already watered down ready for use...

thanks for all the replies. so if I did say a bottle with 90%VG and 10% flavour would that class as 100% VG, I would of course enter 100% VG in the calculator?

I use Cappellas and TPA Concentrates.

If it's for a dripper you don't need to worry about thinning the juice. If it's for a tank then depending on wick holes etc you may need to thin it, there are 3 main thinners, PG, Vodka and Purified water. Purified water is NOT the same as distilled. Your best optionif you aren't intolerant is PG as it also improves flavour transport. I'd suggest using AG instead of purified water, it costs more but you won't have much trouble getting hold of it...
