Review 134 clone - review with pics

Hi everyone,
A few pics and words on the 134 clone from Vaporbreak.
This is a variable wattage, 18650 mod that goes from 6.5-12.5 watts.
It comes in an innokin style briefcase with a protank 2 and an unbranded 18650 battery.
I paid £45 for this mod.
From a little googling I've discovered it's made by a Chinese company called "cylapex". From their website:


"Our Cylapex electronic cigarette have a variety of options for young men, beautiful ladies and all smokers or even non-smokers."


Old men and plain ladies need not apply!


This one has been a bit of a saga for me, I originally ordered this mod around 4 months ago. A month later my mod arrived, looking like this:

I was , shall we say, a little disappointed.
Returned the faulty mod and 3 months later the replacement arrived!

Strange one this.
For ages I was convinced that this mod was an original innokin 134 that had been re-packaged , de-branded and sold by an unauthorised vendor. FT shoppers will be used to the creative little tricks some vendors will use to get around MAP pricing. I figured this must be the case with this mod. I mean look at the little briefcase, the instruction manual. When has a clone maker gone to this kind of trouble to replicate a device.

Now that I have it in my hand I concur that this is a clone. It doesn't have the same quality feel of an innokin. But it's bloody close. The fire button is a little rattly and the variable wattage wheel doesn't smoothly click into place like an original but apart from that, it's spot on.
Very impressed with the performance of this clone, it's fired everything I've put on it with no probs.

Too big? You can shorten that device with a wee dripper:

For large handed freaks like myself it's a comfortable mod to use and not too heavy:

Would I recommend buying this mod from this vendor?
Hell no. Not unless a 4 month wait is acceptable to you.
If you can find an original for a good price I'd go for it. This is not just a novelty device, it's an awesome vw mod that deserves a place on any vaper's coffee table.
