I'm wanting to step my wattage up a level,,, is 20 watts enough really? Or should I aim for a 30 watt device? Either way any advice on what device to get?

Buy a mechanical device, then you can build coils to various ohms to test the results of higher power. If you decide you like high wattages, then buy a device that will provide it.

Yeah I was using a vamo, cranked up until it died! What other devices are out there apart from sigelei20 and 30, and the DNA30

TBH even tho I coil and use a mech mod I rarely go over 17W as I now just enjoy the favour of the juice
even throat hit is secondary now...just my honest opinion

I'd go for 30w, simply because the circuitry will be less stressed running at lower wattages than on an equivalent 20w device, less stress means higher efficency and lower failure rates...

After a year of vaping, I've yet to get over 12 watts............HTH's

A .4 ohm coil @ 4 volts will put you at 40 watts and 10 amp draw. A one ohm coil @4 volts will put you at 16 watts and 4 amp draw.

Nothing against the DNA 30 mods. I own a Hana DNA30. I don't use it much. I prefer a mechanical mod for sub ohm builds.

I'm getting myself a DNA30, I rarely vape at 20 Watts, so I doubt it will ever truly get cranked, but I want a nice regulated mod, and the cost difference between a DNA30 and 20 isn't too extreme.
