I have a 500ml nicotine base with 3mg.
If I want to have it 4mg nicotine how many 10ml 18mg Nicotine shots should I add?

Basically, put in 3 bottles.

18mg x 29.4 ml = 529.2 mg of nic.

Add that to 500ml and you have a final volume of 529.4 ml of juice, containing an extra 529.2 mg of nic.

529.2 / 529.4 = 0.999 extra mg per ml.

Heh, too much ambiguity in the question for me then.

When someone says they have a 500ml nicotine base at 3mg and want to know how much nic to add to make it 4mg, I can only assume they are adding it to 500ml.

But I guess you are right.

Once my nic levels are up it's all the same.
