A little tin mod I threw together

My friend said he wanted to have a go at vaping and stopping smoking, he's skint and I don't have a spare to lend him.... So I made him this.

It's rough because I didn't have the tools to make it precise...

That's a 18350 battery in it so you can estimate the size. I was planning on squeezing a 18650 battery in it at some point but I'd of needed a different button. It does feel like a good one, I'm feeling a little sad to let the tin go

It's ok, it's all a learning curve for my planned mini wooden sx350 at some point..

Nice one, as long as it works and he appreciates it that's what matters. .. looks ok in spite of precise tools and if you can make one you can get further tools and fine tune it over time... looking forward to seeing more that you make in future

I used a drill bit and wire snips to make the button and 510 holes . I'll be invading the engineers work shop at work for my next one I think.

He could of started his vaping journey on a worse setup for sure.

I'd say all in all that's a pretty cool tin, love the size and shape, like you say, shame its not 18650. Can't win em all,

I'd happily use it,

All its required to do, it will do. Job done. My 1st box mod was made from a plastic baccy tin and zero tools, I just heated a piece of wire and melted holes. Lol.

It's still working atm too, though not being used by me but a mate uses it when his ego battery is charging.
