What's new

A vape box delivered to your door every month.

Have you researched this in detail before asking a forum full of vapers?

This is part of the research. I've purposefully kept it loose so I can gather everyone's thoughts, questions and issues. This will help me reiterate and shape the idea. All part of the process.

Just before this escapes further........
Can you lot ease off on the antagonist posts:(
I have spoken to Josh in quite a bit of detail and he has been nothing but open about his plans.
Whether they succeed is up to him alone. You don’t need to be acting in the manner currently being displayed by a few of you.

whatever you expect to charge it will be too much youre up against DIY on the one hand and various online outlets knocking stuff out @90% off fairly regularly on the other

Do you vape yourself @Josh Williams ?

Yes, I do vape. I enjoy it. The idea came about when I ran out of coils and liquid in a short space. I was fairly busy at the time and couldn't get to a shop. The temptation to smoke a cigarette was there. I then wondered Is there any subscription service like this where I could get restocked. I asked vapers I knew, no one knew. I work in the tech industry as a product designer so my mindset is odd. I think a lot, so now I'm here haha.

It's interesting because people outside of this group think its really good. But they are a different user base. More casual vapers. maybe Prefer convenience over price sometimes. They don't dabble in the DIY side of things.

I'm also talking to a group of smokers who are looking to give up. Different type of user again.

As has been said, vaping does seem to tend to be a journey for many people. You usually need to try a few different juice ratios, flavours and set-ups before you settle. Something we see on here all the time is people not realising which juice might work well in which kit ... taking some of that guesswork out for newbies might be helpful. Also giving people new to vaping a chance to try different kit ....... the 'if you like that you might like this' type guidance ....... the sort of good advice you might get in a B&M but won't because you're a newbie and too scared to go in ..... Maybe a combination of people's regular 'fix' with something chosen to appeal on the side to keep up the interest?

Otherwise, I think many of these monthly box ideas tend to fail because of the lack of quality and range in the juice on offer. Who wants to be stuck with monthly 'meh'?

I'm not convinced ....... but you're asking good questions IMHO. :)

Good luck to you bud.
I can get a bit stuck in my ways juice wise so I will sign up to see your progress.

As crewella has said. I've yammered on for ages about juice viscosity so it would be great for you to road test all juices before grouping them to ensure that people get juice that's appropriate for wicking in the devices they have.
A simple menu for those with multiple devices advising which juice suits which set up would be great.
We may be reasonably switched on in finding the right juice despite some not so helpful advice from some vape shops but we are a small section of the vape market and the most common reason I've seen for new vapers switching back to smoking is due to burning out coils to quickly on unsuitable juice.
