Absolute F*&%$ng Disgrace

What does not seem to be clearly understood here is that the legal offence has nothing to do with the TPD/TRPR at all, it's not specific to vaping.
Legally it's all covered in the UK Food Imitations Safety Regulations 1989 and the EU Regulation 1272/2008 on Classification, Labelling and Packaging of Substances and Mixtures.

It's a potentially hazardous product being marketed and sold as an imitation food/drink product ... it can be misleading to a consumer or child due to its "form, odour, colour, appearance, packaging, labelling, volume".

It's not simply that we might consider it a disgrace, or bad news for vaping, or fuel for the antz ... it's not a matter of personal opinion whether parents are responsible for what their child can get their hands on - it's against the law to produce and sell such things!
Exactly right. Trading Standards have already started seizing stock on this basis.

Your average 'corner shop' sells e-juice and the practice of selling cigarettes to children is still very common. They even open up the pack and sell singles. Anyone unscrupulous enough to do that would have no moral inhibition against selling juice to kids.

Well that is criminal practice by that corner shop and if they were caught doing it they would be fined £2500. But lets face it the average corner shop is going to be selling KiK, 88 Vape or similar cheapo liquids. They aren't going to be stocking Fantasi with nic shots.

Again, the bottle pictured is not available for sale anywhere in the world as far as I can tell. It is not marketed to kids, I can only find it via specialist vendors at a premium price. This whole thread is based on some kind of faux internet outrage.

Oh my f'ing god

Are we still all banging our heads against the wall arguing over this shit
I read the whole thread the other day and now loads more posts

Yet I don't see one new point raised - talk about going round and round in circles

Can't we just agree to disagree - stop being salty as fuck with each other and move on !

From the point of public perception of vaping yes it would.

Fair point but I'm looking at it as a way to stop this whole "kids", "gateway" etc debate. We have to keep in mind as much as we enjoy our vaping it isn't and will never be a "healthy" thing to do. For any ex smoker it is a much "healthier" option as we all know but it's not a sensible choice for a non smoker.

TBH the only sensible way to give up smoking is to take the pain and go cold turkey. Which is why I am glad I have broken my nicotine habit. But now I have to turn vaping into an occasional treat, as I am yet to break the actual habit or sucking on something.

I think the habit is grossly underrated when it comes so stopping, every other method concentrates on the addiction. That's why vaping is so successful, it deals with both.

I have been reducing my nic too but I don't know if I'll look to stop altogether when I get down to zero.

But you dont have to add Nicotine to your liquids though right?
You can vape without the nicotine content still.
