But I also think that the really useful solution would be to use the list along with a forum plug-in, so that those keywords are highlighted within posts and hovering over them will bring up a popup with the definition.

Another useful sticky would be. Names, alternative names and clappy counterfeits

Which would include -

a) the main manufacturers / original name for the product
b) Other retailers brand names /manufacturers names for the same things
c) Known fakes and counterfeits and the known retailers thereof.
