I wouldn't consider my post to be 'advice' apart from where I advised to seek advice elsewhere, I stated very loosely a few steps in the process that he would need to research and gave him examples of costs that I have had when releasing regulated products.

About a grand per flavour (as many strengths as you like, all in) is how much it currently costs to put something through the TPD.

That was a quote I got two weeks ago from the same company that look after the generals TPD notifications and testing. They are a Italian company, price was €700 plus VAT. Plus £220 UK notification fee (per flavour).

Mind you, that was on a quote of 30 flavours done at once, so I expect there is a bit of a bulk discount included in that.

£1000-1500 would be about right.

*There will also be a list on there somewhere of UK Lab testing companies that are registered to provide suitable TPD testing, prices will vary greatly so I would suggest to e-mail literally every single one.

Well, right now I'm trying to sell well-known brand liquids from Indonesia but maybe still unknown brand in the UK.
For the products, I've got a dozen brands that I think got potential here in the UK market.
