Just got myself a steam turbine type atty and after cleaning it in my ultrasonic cleaner and leaving it to dry overnight the screws have started to rust! Any idea's what size/type of screws I need to get to replace them?

I'm also after an IDIOTs guide to mesh wicking as I've never tried this before and need help setting it up. It came with mesh, wick and wire.

Thanks for any help offered.

Thanks for that but it doesn't show the wicking process. I've watched a couple of vids now and both were completely opposite as to the depth of the wicks into the tank, todds wicks are long and doc daves were short? Although I'm now ok at rebuilding my evod/protank wicks and can recoil my Igo-L dripper I've never used mesh so was hoping to be pointed in the direction of a beginners guide without having to trawl through the masses of vids on youtube until I find one.

Good luck mate. Took me at least a dozen tries to crack gennies, but once you get it right you're sorted. Riptrippers on YouTube is a good bet for gennie & rba builds imho.

Took me a week to get me AGA-t to work.
After watching loads of youtube, I opted for the longer wick. Snug fitting, level with top of posts and just short of the tank bottom.
Oxidizing wasn't to bad, but putting a layer of carbon down was. Instead of using e-juice, I eventually went the pure vg route. But i'm still a novice at this and don't know a lot. I still get a hot spot at the top, and have to fiddle now and again to sort it. But it does run well when it works.
It's consigned to the fiddle with it when I feel like bin at the moment. Because I need to recoil loads of other stuff, that I've been neglecting for weeks.

Hi @Mrdazjones you may want to look at this vid which from memory was suggested by whit77 for making a coil. Ok so it is not the Turbine and it is a micro coil but it gives you some idea.

I use stainless mesh for my wicks, seem to recall hearing it mentioned in one of the dozens of videos I watched researching setup that you cut a square of mesh so that means if your tank+coil posts are 4 cms total height, you'd cut it 4 cms wide,to oxidise my wicks,I use the gas cooker, then roll them back & forth between finger+thumb until it fits the hole in the atty.I have also just started experimenting with the mesh wicks & left a hole through the middle(used a catheter needle to form the wick)& dragging the end across some loose cotton wool to reduce any hotspots(though still have to add a small ball of cotton wool over the centre post to cure the wick-centre post coil wire glowing,as I was using a washer but with dual coils, the washer created a short)

are you sure the screws are rusting. theres quite a few comments about "rust spots" caused by ultrasonic cleaners when to much cleaning stuff is used ( milton tablets or the like) and it causes stainign that looks like rust which once washed in some warm soapy water and then cleaned dry disappears
