Am I going mad about the topside dual

I've just received the topside dual and to my understanding that a black bottle was to come with the kit.is it me or am I going crazy?

but does squonk come under the tpd as im sure i read that another make had the bottle removed.
hopefully someone that has one can advise.

I bought mine from a UK vendor and it came with 2 bottles. The clear one was already in the mod and the black one came in a separate box. Many UK vendors now are simply ignoring the 2ml size limit as no one will buy a 2ml tank from them when customers can simply buy full size gear direct from China.

I got two bottles in mine too. Dark one pre-installed and the clear one in the box.

Some vendors are observing the TPD regarding squonk bottles & they are sending the bottles separately. Also some imports are TPD compliant & come either with a 2ml bottle or no bottle. Get onto the vendor you purchased from to find out what's going on.
Could also be that they were packed on a Friday afternoon & forgotten/omitted .

I had a quonk mod delivered recently, and there was no bottle, nearly threw it away as it was just separate in the jiffy bag, no box, not even on the packing list.

I had a topside dual delivered today, box was sealed but no squonk bottles inside. Contacted the shop who have sent 2 out this afternoon.

TPD rules stopped the inclusion of bottles with squonkers as it makes the capacity more than 2ml. Yes, before the forum police try to correct me, I know the 2ml is only supposed to affect tanks but in the eyes of the TPD the squonk bottle is seen as a tank/reservoir so cannot exceed this. Always check before buying that a bottle is included or supplied separately, & should be at no extra charge.

I have 2 Topside Duals and a Topside single, both came with extra bottle in a separate retail box, there was a recent post where the retailer 'accidentally' kept it.

Contact the supplier and ask where your bottle is as it's one of the great features having another 10ml to take out on longer trips.
