Am I going mad about the topside dual

I had a topside dual delivered today, box was sealed but no squonk bottles inside. Contacted the shop who have sent 2 out this afternoon.

I’m keeping an eye out for the dual when the price starts to drop. It’s held it’s price much longer than vape gear normally does. This indicates it’s quality undoubtedly but it’s also a massive pain in the arse!

Bit late to the party, but I recently bought a topside carbon after searching for weeks. Mine came with two bottles separately, none in the box or installed. Both were clear. I'm a bit disappointed I didn't get the black one. It would match the mod much better, and would hide staining more. Unfortunately it doesn't seem like they sell the black spares either. Thanks tpd!

which one did you go for? I love the magenta, rust and monet ones but couldn’t convince myself to pay the high costs.

I got the red one. They only had red and magenta left in stock. It was £140, so I paid a bit over the odds for it, but red was my first colour choice and I knew it was a case of "now or never." I had my heart set on one and even resorted to placing wanted ads everywhere. It is a beautiful mod, and I'm happy I bagged it, but the feature poor chipset and battery issues are a bit of a downer. I tried to update it with the firmware fix, but can't for the life of me get the damn USB driver to install.

that sounds irritating!

I hadn’t read about the battery issues but thought the chip was ok for basics (certainly easier to navigate than the standard yihi menus!!)

What sort of impact do they have?
