I hope you read that title in a movie trailer voice, if not go back and read it again ;)

So I took advantage of the black friday sales and have some nic, pg and vg en route.

My primary goals will be making a decent coffee and a Terrys chocolate orange along with some other ideas I've got knocking around.
Things left to buy, syringes, gloves, maybe a beaker or two and bottles (btw, why are bottles so damn expensive?!)

So I've done a lot of searching for flavours and what people think are the best but I wanted to bounce it off you guys before placing any orders. So far I've got:

Capella Cappuccino 13ml £3.50
TPA Caramel Cappuccino 10ml £1.90

Capella Sweet Tangerine 13ml £3.50
Wera Garden Orange £2.40

Capella Vanilla Custard 13ml £3.50
Capella Choc Fudge Brownie 13ml £3.50

Inawera Wild Strawberry (10ml?) £2.40
PA Bavarian Cream 10ml £1.95
Hazelnut Praline (TFA) 10ml £2.99
TFA Caramel (Original) 10ml £1.20
Capella Hazelnut (unsourced)

There's a couple of duplicates in there because I'm not sure which one is best so let me know if there's any flavourings to stay away from or better options please.
I'll eventually get most of them probably but what would you start with?

I'll also need a good dark chocolate to bolster the flavour, oh and a good sweetener too.

I know there's a lot in this post but any feedback on any of it is appreciated.

Cheers!

Welcome aboard. PA double dark chocolate is pretty decent but you will need to mix another choc based concentrate to make it work. For bottles I tend use glass as they wash up nicely and reusable endlessly. If you want to buy glass bottles you can try Bottles & Jars - Glass Dropper Bottles - Naturallythinking Pure Aromatherapy and Spa. Not bought any myself as had plenty from when I was buying pre mixed. Good Luck.

Thanks for the link, glass does seem like a better solution.

So something like TPA Milk Chocolate with the double dark?
May as well get it on the list as this is something I'd like to try too ;)

Inawera's Dark Chocolate is what you need. Blend it with other chocolates and that Fudge Brownie you have.
FlavourArt's Hazelnut is very good if you haven't sourced the Capella version.

The Inawera Orange is great on it's own and with other fruits, didn't work at all for me with Dark Chocolate though. I was sad about that because choc orange seems like a winner. I probably shouldn't have given up on it.

As for coffee - I go for espresso rather than cappuccino.

Make your own coffee concentrate, find a taste of filter coffee you enjoy, heaped tablespoon in 25 ml PG,heat in boiling water, sieve through coffee filter paper, add 8% to whipped cream concentrate (think it was just 3%) and enjoy.

I use Double Dark (was a really dark concentrate first batch, new batch is almost clear) Chocolate from Chefs Vapour range, with Orange from TPA (I think, can't locate the bottle to check) and it's DD Choc 15% & 5% Orange,it requires a longish steep(my juice was made back in May)before it lost it's bitter TH,though the first batch DDC only required a week.I'm still unable to use it as an ADV either, the taste gets sharper the longer I use it so I'm still messing with their percentages and finding that a 1% drop on either choc or orange throws the taste from too mellow to to sharp, and varies with 2 x 10 ml bottles made with a week between them.It is bloody close though,I just wish I could find the exact same sodding concentrates I used first time around as that was just like vaping Terry's choc orange.

Likewise cheers for the the link. In terms of steeping I had never thought of steeping certain flavours separately then putting them together for a further steep. Worth a try as is the Inwara dark choc Scrumpox recommended. I've not tried any Inwara dark yet but you get a lot of juice out of their concentrate as strong and mixed at low percentage.

Thanks, I'll tell you where the choc/orange mission came from. When areovape was like £2.80 for 30ml (after discounts) I got a load of different flavours to try. I got a pretty good milk chocolate from the 'snackers' juice but not much peanut and the orange was serviceable but nothing to write home about on its own so I mixed them 65(S)/35(O) and it made something really special.
I did write to Daniel to tell him about my findings and said he should call it 'Not Terrys' and watch the money roll in. I also said he could pay for the idea in bottles of the stuff lol but he pretty much blanked me on the whole idea.

The point being, I combined two pre made juices and the flavours married up very well so maybe there's something to be said for that approach (as is currently being discussed in another thread).

I have feeling there's lots of experimentation to be done! :)

So a shortlist is forming:
Wera Garden Orange £2.40
PA Bavarian Cream 10ml £1.95
Hazelnut Praline (TFA) 10ml £2.99
TFA Caramel (Original) 10ml £1.20
Capella Choc Fudge Brownie 13ml £3.50
Inawera Dark Chocolate 10ml £2.40
Ethyl Maltol (source?)
Stevia? (source?)

The strawberry and custard stuff can wait, same with the doughnut idea. I'll have a go at making the coffee too and get concentrates if it doesn't work out ;)

Most of this looks like it's coming from LTE, are chefs vapour cheaper?

Got a strawberry custard mix that is lovely. Not sure of comparisons of prices between the two as I always use CV.
