What's new

And so it begins.....

I hope you read that title in a movie trailer voice, if not go back and read it again ;)

So I took advantage of the black friday sales and have some nic, pg and vg en route.

My primary goals will be making a decent coffee and a Terrys chocolate orange along with some other ideas I've got knocking around.
Things left to buy, syringes, gloves, maybe a beaker or two and bottles (btw, why are bottles so damn expensive?!)

So I've done a lot of searching for flavours and what people think are the best but I wanted to bounce it off you guys before placing any orders. So far I've got:

Capella Cappuccino 13ml £3.50
TPA Caramel Cappuccino 10ml £1.90

Capella Sweet Tangerine 13ml £3.50
Wera Garden Orange £2.40

Capella Vanilla Custard 13ml £3.50
Capella Choc Fudge Brownie 13ml £3.50

Inawera Wild Strawberry (10ml?) £2.40
PA Bavarian Cream 10ml £1.95
Hazelnut Praline (TFA) 10ml £2.99
TFA Caramel (Original) 10ml £1.20
Capella Hazelnut (unsourced)

There's a couple of duplicates in there because I'm not sure which one is best so let me know if there's any flavourings to stay away from or better options please.
I'll eventually get most of them probably but what would you start with?

I'll also need a good dark chocolate to bolster the flavour, oh and a good sweetener too.

I know there's a lot in this post but any feedback on any of it is appreciated.

Cheers!

The only thing that jumped out at me was the wild strawberry. I have that concentrate and found it a little grassy tasting. I much prefer Capella sweet strawberry...just personal taste

Lol, yeah grass isn't a note I look for in my vapes ;) Thanks for the heads up.

I'll steer away from the strawberry custard for now as it seems like a bit of a minefield to get custard right. I'm going to try and follow the k.i.s.s. principle ;)

Got a strawberry custard mix that is lovely. Not sure of comparisons of prices between the two as I always use CV.

Do you have a recipe for the strawberry custard by any chance ?
Thanks for the earlier link for glass bottles btw, got 3 flavours i'll be mixing quite regular so be nice to have glass bottles to keep them in :)

No worries for the link. The glass bottles are great and always clean up nicely no matter what flavour you have had in there in my experience.
The strawberry custard recipe is as follows:

Obviously you can tweak to suit but as is I find the flavours balanced for a good vape. I really must start using the recipe share thing on here.

Can anyone recommend a good orange on chefs vapour? I can get most of the other stuff on there just not the wera garden stuff.

Also still looking for an ethyl malto supplier (powder, I've got the pg to mix it in) and stevia too ;)

Thanks

Btw, what's the deal with the "v2" juices?
I think with the capella vanilla custard v1 has some sort of additive in it that's associated with 'popcorn lung'. V2 doesn't have these additives but not sure what they taste like.

I can recommend DV,s Orangella.

V2 is made without no diacytl (ingredient in lots of creamy buttery type flavours that is allegedly causing the desease popcorn lung ) Just wish this bloody tablet would remember the spelling of these ingredients. :D

Thanks for that. I'm not sure how I feel about the whole popcorn lung thing. I can see that you wouldn't want all the ingredients to be composed of flavourings with a risk of creating diacytl but a little hint of something here and there seems like an acceptable risk when compared to smoking particularly.

Being as I have no frame of reference though I'll go with the safer option and try the originals if I feel something is lacking.

Quite a few out of stock on CV, including the orangella and brownie :(
