Another boring DNA build

Looks real good, man. I've been real happy with ol' fashioned mechs, but this kinda makes me wanna build something a bit more complicated.
I think I just don't like LED displays for some reason.

You can have the display behind the door so its hidden inside the mod.

Hey thanks, 'BooM! But I didn't realize how much those things cost! I've just started shopping around, but I don't know if I can chance killing one for the prices I'm seeing.
This "cost saving alternative to cigarettes" is getting to be an expensive hobby!
(At least for my broke standards)
You might be one of the few who appreciate my crude sense of aesthetics, so unless I can unload some of my "projects" and get some money to reinvest, I'll sadly have to wait on this.
Oh well, I got another kick clone from FT coming, maybe I'll try hardwiring that into an ugly mod first.
And thanks again for the kind words. Yer one of the only keeping me going. I get discouraged from how much I haven't figured out yet.
I'll have to steal switches from my old mods to build new ones at this rate!

Don't think you would have any problems unloading mods.

Thank you, Ive had troubles along the way. Split one mod complete in half when drilling the fire button, ripped the screen of a DNA.

Yes that's a home made spring. Copper springs are not the best, as you all know copper aint very springy. I made that one with a pen, would turn out better using step a mandrel http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Beadsmith...Crafts_JewelleryMaking_GL&hash=item3cdfa1bb4f

Getting a new compound table this week hopefully (its in the post), so I can mill out the display window. Did it with a Dremel before but I hate multitools.

Doghead Just remembered you can get a china DNA board cheap from fasttech, well you have to buy the hole mod but you can just rip out the board.

Thanks, again! That kicker is looking good. Love the neat way you've got each section cut out and compartmentalized. Do you just solder the negative wire to the ground spring too?
I might go ahead and spring for that cheaper board first. Even the FT dna mod would be hard to explain to the wife right now!
