Your "usb cable" may already be the same thing. I don't know.

I think I'll have to pass on this as I don't own a vv3 and am flying blind.

Is the cable supplied just a cable or does it have charging circuitry? The charging circuitry may already be in the vv3.

It comes with just a cable - retractable micro USB. I use any micro USB cables & wall plug USB adapters (not the PC).
