Still not good news but atleast she admits she used the wrong charger.

Maybe it will help others realise they need to use the correct charger and its safe and maybe its just another nail in the coffin

Innokin states in the Manual:
Recharge iTaste VV with a standard Micro USB cable. It can also work as a passthrough for immediate use while charging.
It looks like Innokin built in protection.

That's where the problems start with ego batteries, no built in protection, on most. Charging cables like these http://myepack.co.uk/batteries/usb-charger-for-e-shisha.html should be used. As they have the charging circuit built into them. Note the output is written on them. If it does not state the output, then probably no protection built in.

joe clay I use my Samsung wall adapter as the voltage and amperage is low on that and I think it matches it :-)
