Any tips for semi-noobs?

Just as an update I bought the Riva 1100 I outlined above.

Really pleased with it so far (only had it a few hours) - gives a much better experience than the SkyCig.

At first I bought some 8mg menthol liquid, this time I bought 18mg. 18mg seems incredibly strong, 8mg seems a bit low. Can I mix them ok? Should I just put a few drops from each bottle in?

Yes you can mix but no use just a couple of drops best to mix both together and in theory you should get when split after total mix about 13 mg if mixed thoroughly

Why did you get banned? Just started to see you posting more!

I've nearly filled it with 18mg liquid now, I'll maybe smoke it a bit and then add 8mg to it.

I told Paul what I thought, and had one too many run ins with Elton & Colorado, but I dont miss the place to be honest, only some of the people.

What Mark is saying, is mix both bottles together, and you will end up with a mix at about 12mg of strength.
