Been off the stinkies a while and really don't want to go back but have found I'm getting an increasingly hard to resist urge to get some 'baccy and roll up... Been vaping 18mg juice quite happily up to now but am wondering if it's just not quite enough!

My plan was to reduce my Nic level pretty soon... Now thinking of increasing it as I am struggling with the lure of the fags- anyone else been here? Wondering if it's physical in terms of not getting enough Nic or psychological from being a 30 year smoker!

I started to get urges for a roll up and the thing that cured me was having one. After not having one for a few months it made me want to puke. I've not had any cravings since tho.

Thanks Clint, tried that- just want another one!! ;)

If you dont wanna up your nic intake by loads, id say get some 24 mg and have it just for the mornings and maybe when the urges get you then vape your normal 18 mg the rest of the time
I keep an old stinky ashtray under the sink and give that a wiff and that puts me off the idea, but I've not had to do that for a few months now so must of working lol

Not sure what mine was.
But about 2 months into being ciggie free, I found myself actually walking up to the shops to buy baccie, the craving for a smoke was that bad. Luckily for me I managed to vape through it before I got there.
I started vaping on 18mg, after 35 years of 20+ a day. I'm still on 18mg, but did drop to 12mg, which may of been the cause. That was about 8 weeks ago, and touch wood I've not had the urge since then.
I would suggest staying on 18mg but get some 24mg in, to vape on if it gets to bad. And I can't see any harm in having a smoke, if you really need to, because don't forget, it's all about the ciggies you don't smoke, not the ones you do.
Also I've just noticed your 51 days in, so there's a good chance you'll find a ciggie won't taste that good anymore.

Everyone has different tastes/needs and these can sometimes fluctuate.

If you feel you might need a higher strength nic then go ahead and try it... despite what the mass media might like to portray, there is no absolute requirement for anyone to gradually reduce nic intake. Whatever works best for you is the best solution and if that means raising your nic level then so be it.

If it makes you feel any better, I know of at least one vaper who regularly vapes 36mg/ml.

I use 18 mg 99% of the time, but have a bottle of 24 mg for the odd occasions when I need a bigger hit.I also just got a dripper which is giving me a nicotine headache after running a few drops of 18 mg through it,just a thought.

I cut down from 18 to 12 about a month ago for my ADV but I keep my morning vape @ 18mg nice strong fruity menthol

On a side note, I normally vape 9-12mg which I have decreased from 18-24mg... I am now vaping 18mg again and only because I received some Redwood Breakfast Blend (which I can't put down) I noticed I am vaping less than I was before on the lower doses and the thought of a cig is quickly erased.

I used to smoke the marlboro gold variety and when started vaping, i started with 12 mg cuz that's what was spoken about as an equivalent... quite soon.. i had to upgrade to 18 mg.... but then... i cant go on forever with the 18 mg.. have to keep it down aft a few drags... now alternating between 6, 12 and 18.. 6 mg on the weekends... when I am just lazing around and creating clouds all over the place... 12 on flavours that are mid range... 18 only in the mornings and post lunch on workdays ! :)
