I've tried a few Apollo e-liquids and have enjoyed more of them than I've disliked. Their fruit flavours are particularly good. I also love RY4; it's one of my staple vapes, but I'd not tried Apollo's RY4, so it seemed the obvious thing to do to try it out!
I bought both a 12mg bottle and a 18mg bottle, from Electric Tobacconist. Next day delivery as always, and these juices are £3.99 per 10ml bottle, but you can also buy 3 from the range, for £10 (with FREE delivery), so that's what I did - a really good deal.
Why did I buy two strengths? ... well, I'm generally a 12mg, non sub-ohm, mouth to lung vaper, favouring coil ohm resistance of 1.4 - 1.8, at around 3.7-4.0v. But for the (few) tobacco juices that I vape, I do like a stronger nic content - for me, if I'm vaping a tobacco juice I like the experience to resemble smoking a cigarette; so a stronger throat hit than I normally go for. However, some RY4s I've tried at 18mg have felt harsh - not the level of throat hit, but the quality of it. So I decided to try both.
Apollo RY4, 18mg (60PG/40VG)
These are mass produced juices, made in the US and imported to the UK, so no steeping time is needed. I vaped this in a fairly fresh Kanger Aero Tank, with a brand new 1.8ohm coil, at 3.8v. On my first vape what hit me initially was how "tobaccoey" the flavour was. A lot of RY4s have lost their authenticity and become essentially 'Caramel' flavour juices. Not this one - the first flavour I got was of a very pleasant 'virginia' style tobacco taste. The flavour was quite strong but not harsh, and very pleasant - even to someone like me who doesn't particularly go for tobacco flavours.
Initially, I couldn't detect much/any caramel or vanilla, but after 3 or 4 vapes I could definitely taste a subtle but definite caramel taste on the exhale. This was a 'darker' caramel taste - not the creamy or over-sweetened type, but a darker tone. This really suited the bold virginia style tobacco flavour. Some RY4s go very heavy on the caramel side of things, some put out a lot of vanilla flavour. This RY4 favours the tobacco flavour, with subtle but definite caramel tones - I cannot detect any vanilla flavour in this particular RY4. Throat hit on this 18mg version was bold - a little too bold for me at first but that's only because I vape at 12mg most of the time. After a small adjustment period, the throat hit felt great - well balanced and appropriate for the flavours coming through. At 60%PG/40%VG this juice is about as far as I can go with PG (mild to moderate intolerence). But aside from a slight tight chestedness when I over did it, I never had any problems with this juice - no cough or irritation.

Apollo RY4, 12mg (60PG/40VG)
This will be short - purely because everything about this 12mg version was identical (in terms of flavour) to the 18mg version. The virginia style tobacco flavour is still there, as are the undertones of dark caramel. The difference with this version (obviously) was purely in throat hit. The 12mg throat hit felt significantly less than the 18mg version. Initially, having vaped the 18mg for a full day, the 12mg felt a little lacking in this department, but again after a short adjustment period I actually started enjoying the reduced throat hit of the 12mg; because it manifested itself as a smoother, easier vape. I found myself alternating according to circumstances and preference. Eg... first thing in the morning; 12mg works best. Stressful day at work, 18mg hit the spot on lunchbreak. The 12mg is better for more 'chain' style vaping, and the 18mg better for more staggered, cigarette style vaping. I rate them equally.

All round, a really great RY4. Not one of the creamy or super smooth ones; but a more smoky (but not harsh) representation of this classic. Believe it or not, my all time favourite RY4 is from LiQuid (OnePoundEliquid.com) at £1 for 10ml! ...... it is more of the sweeter variety, with little tobacco taste, but a very, very smooth caramel and vanilla taste. However this quite different RY4 from Apollo is probably more authentic as a RY4 and I would certainly buy it again.
