What's new

are electronic cigarettes safe?

Actually, despite having bought 2 years' supply of mixing ingredients & equipment, 5 egos, 1 itaste vv, 30 odd tanks , 100 empty bottles, spare heads & carts, numerous juices plus various other accessories - my app tells me I've still saved £848.82

So all that stuff I bought was free! :)

It made real fags taste much more unpleasant!

Seriously though - a bit of a dry throat, so plenty of fluids - advantage of that is that most of us drink less fluids than we should, so it helps correct that

Great stuff, from what everyone is saying it seems what i'm experiencing is common, little or no side effects, almost seems too good to be true but that's awesome!

I personally stick to juices created in the UK as i've heard that juices from abroad e.g China are adding other chemicals into the mix, any experiences on the subject? Or is this just hear say?

Cheers.

I think there's a bit of scaremongering, but I also feel that Chinese fluid vendors are less concerned with stating ingredients, nic strength, PG/VG ratio. UK vendors are largely doing a good job of developing and adhering to their own code of practice that ensures the customer gets what they're paying for, it's not sold to under 18s, the necessary warnings on safety are present and all ingredients are fully listed.

I did buy what was supposed to be Dekang juices from FT, but Dekang isn't stated anywhere on the bottles, they don't look like Dekang bottles and the flavour/any other information is on a sticker where the printing has worn off, so they all look the same and I don't know what I'm vaping. They do include batch dates and warnings about nic, though.

I'd stick to UK - they're self-policing very well

I would suggest it's hearsay dropknee, if you use liquids from Hangsen or Dekang there shouldn't be a problem as they both have first class facilities.

But then as Fleabag pointed out, you have to ensure you are getting genuine liquids from wherever you buy them. That can sometimes pose a difficulty.

I'd trust international vendors, but it would depend on their reviews & shipping costs. I think I'd avoid China in future, though - it's more that the product seems cheap, so you're less confident.

Also, international vendors may automatically use Royal Mail, which causes a problem with delivery, as RM won't carry e-liquid. UK vendors know this and use carriers who will.

UKV have listed alias's the OP uses The original post being cut n paste ... asking this same question across several vaping forums. At this particular time could be seen as a bit questionable?

Drop knee did you wake up and think I need to ask all vapers across all the forums this morning ??? Didn't think one forum was enough for your research?

Interesting, I dont do conspiracy theories, but I do believe in dirty/corrupt politics :(

I don't know of anyone I know hurt or harmed by e cigarettes but I do know 3 people who have had very near misses with peanuts due to an allergy, so in this instance I would say e cigs are safe and peanuts are not.
