Are You Having The Booster ?

I'm undecided.

Potentially coming up to a booster and going through all the side effects again, then every 6 months thereafter, really doesn't appeal; I know catching it would be equally as bad, if not worse.

In my soon-to-be old job, I saw how lax things were, how little regard for rules and guidance some people had. It was unsettling and that was the thing which swung me to have it.

In my new company I'll be mixing with people working throughout Scotland, and that will probably be the thing swinging it again. Just have to hope it's a Friday evening jab to give me a couple of recovery days before attempting to make it to work, unless I could time it for the Christmas break :hmm:

My wife took paracetamol throughout th day she had her jabs, she had now side effects apart from a sore arm for a day. Whether they helped or not don’t really now but she was ok with it.

I'm on prescription meds, they made no difference to the increase in pain from the jabs.

The main reason i got mine this morning is i visit my mom twice a week in a care home, so feel i'm doing my bit.

Confusing, my wife will not like this allergy update thing. Also her latest PCR test has gone walkabouts, at this rate she'll be out of statutory isolation before she gets the result :hmm: She needs to know if she has actually had covid because there is a recommended seven week wait between the end of symptoms and having the booster.

Here's a question.... Do uk doctor's/ vaccine administers aspirate !!??
Not for Covid vaccines. And they'll refuse if asked. Not that I asked of course. :54:

Needle is too small and it's in muscle not a vein (hopefully). Can clog up the needle and cause other problems. Or so they said. They follow their guidelines, which is not to aspirate.

They do in other countries. As far as muscle not blood vessel, that's the point. Making sure you're not in a blood vessel which can cause all sorts of problems.

I know. I had two full on nurses both times. I tried to educate them. Even offered to show/send them the official studies! :lol1:

Try asking and report back please. :D
