Aspire nautilus

ive received a new aspire nautilus tank today, very impressed with the build quality and the adjustable air flow is great, but I'm getting a rubbery taste when you draw on it.
is it because it is new and will gradually disappear, or could there be a problem with it?

I haven't got that tank but generally its a good idea to give em a good wash before filling/using.
You never know what contaminants may be lurking around after manufacture

I think I may have to empty it an thoroughly wash it
I did give it a quick rinse before filling with 5ml of juice
Hope that will cure it, should I wash the coil?

I seem to have sorted it, took it apart and gave it a good soak in hot water, refilled with another 5ml and the rubbery taste has gone.
it may have been the big rubber grommet on the bottom section.
